Ok, this has been bothering me all day and thought I'd post it here. Yesterday, M Jr. was practicing his clarinet. All of a sudden, it quit playing in the middle of a piece. I had just left the room to rush off to the store before it closed. I turned around to see what was the matter and neither of us could get it to play and we didn't see any keys or anything that was messing up. Like I said, I was trying to get to the store before closing so I gave up on it and was leaving the room again when M Jr. got it to play. I turned around and came back in and it quit. This happened twice more. It even quit and started for me so I know Jr. wasn't playing tricks and besides he was the one who needed something from the store.
Now, clarinets don't just stop working for no good reason. It doesn't make any sense for it to play one minute and not the next but start playing again the next. I've been wondering if maybe "something/someone" was trying to stop me from leaving at that moment. Perhaps avoiding an accident or something??? What do y'all think?
