We will see what happened to Claire........... :-O

Or so we thought...

They really know how to string people along :-) But, I guess that's part of what makes the show fun.

Yesh, it was a lot more convenient for Claire to have selective amnesia. Now our imaginations can work overtime all on their own, and like you said the "Lost" writers will continue to string us along for the ride. Not that I mind. :-)

Yikes, I almost forgot the weekly "Lost" bump!

Last night, we relived with Sawyer (real name James?) the most traumatic two moments of his life. Very powerful scenes...

After talking with a couple people about it there may be some confusion over "the shrimp stand guy" (SSG). My understanding is Sawyer's shady friend (the actor who was also in Terminator 2) set Sawyer up to kill SSG, not because SSG was the one who wrecked Sawyer's family but because SSG owed the shady friend money. So Sawyer shot the wrong person.

Tourist tip: A funny thing about this episode (at least to me) was that the shrimp stand/shrimp truck they showed actually exists out on the North Shore of Oahu, in the same general area the show is being filmed. There are actually a couple shrimp trucks now. I've never tried the treat, but there are always small crowds of people sitting and eating when I drive by. Maybe it's worth the stop. :-)

Yeah, you know, they are doing some really interesting things with this show. They are starting to play up redemptive transformation as a central theme. I wonder if the writers will have to guts to really run with it. When Sawyer didn't shoot the boar, it seemed like they were toying with the idea of forgiveness, which is not a theme seen on TV often. On the other hand, they might choose to not develop it much.

That's that way I took it. It actually crossed my mind that he was being set up when the guy gave him the folder.

I guess even shrimp stands get their 15 minutes of fame.

"Lost" bump! :-D

Please also see Sexy Lost star enjoys success (Naveen Andrews), which, after reading, made me think I like "Sayid" a little better than the actor who plays him... :-)

Tonight's episode should give us more info on the Korean characters, who have been largely ignored during the last several shows. Because "Lost" is primarily a character-driven series, as opposed to a plot-driven series, the diversity here is a major plus!

Didn't get around to bumping the thread earlier this week, but better late than never.

I can't be the only one watching this show! You all who aren't are really missing out. ;-)

News Tidbit:
The "Lost" Season 1 DVD will be coming out this September! Wooohoo!!

D'oh!! I didn't even realize that until you posted!! Thanks. :-D

And, yep, a friend told me Hurley was on Korean TV for a second or two in the background on that other episode, although I missed actually seeing it.

I really need to pay better attention...

There are probably a ton of things we don't notice in the background.

BTW.. www.lost-tv.com is a great website covering this show.

Thanks for the link!

Rerun tomorrow, darnit. But I taped that National Geographic special on Sunday, "In the Womb," and will be watching that instead.

Whew, been a while again.. :-)

Yep, good show last week! It's all getting a bit weirder somehow..

Fascinating to see more of Locke's story unfold.

P.S. Wonder if I should start a ping list of everyone on this thread..

I was wondering if there was a Freeper thread on this show.

My sister gave me Season 1 on DVD for Christmas. I just got around to watching it last week.

I saw the first episode and was instantly hooked (a polar bear in the jungle??? Too cool). I watched all of season 1 in a week and a half.
