I agree. Unfortunatley I've had many dealings with Attorneys, and plaintiffs can say anything. I do hope that O'Reilly is innocent.

I'm new. I will not post "vanities" anymore. I didn't know what a vanity was until recently....

Well, okay. I am sorry if I offended you but you are deflecting the argument with your sensibilities.

You asked about the circumstance of my assault and I reiterated it to you. Additionally, if a man or woman, particularly one who is in charge of your paycheck, makes lewd gestures, such as wagging of tongue, grabbing of crotch, et al, that is considered harassment.
It frosts me when women think these things don't happen all the time. Thus, the reason for my strong language. I spoke to an attorney friend today who specializes in these types of cases and she said to me that the more outlandish the claim, the more likely that it is real. I am now of the opinion that O'Reilly is in BIG trouble.
I guess it was my fault for shrugging that stuff off and it escalating to the grabbing and chasing.

I just don't think a woman should be able to sue because a man says gross stuff or makes gross gestures. Especially if she doesn't make it clear that she never wants to hear his trash again. I don't believe in the right to work concept. I think an employer should be able to fire you for any reason and that's the breaks. If a guy says "if I don't get to say crude stuff to you then you are fired," then you should quit. What if the guy is just mean and says mean and rude things? Should you be able to sue for "emotional abuse?" If I didn't like a work atmosphere, I'd quit.

I am so pleased to meet an oracle, I can't tell you!

I was a young woman with little education who through hard work and perseverance had managed to land a middle management job. I was making very good money and had a small child to support.

It's a bit hard to tell your boss "F U" and quit under those circumstances. It wasn't like people were breaking down my door to hire me.

An oracle is someone who predicts the future. I don't understand your comment. I was explaining what I think is wrong with sexual harrassment laws. You didn't respond to what I said.
