BOYCOTT O'REILLY. The honest, decent, conservative American audience made him what he is and now he is pandering to the liberal left every chance he gets. Tonight he's taking issue with Sinclair Broadcasting over the showing of "Stolen Honor". O' doesn't think it 'FAIR'.

He started losing me when he started dissing the Swift Boat Vets.

I agree, Mr. O is spot on with the French, the Chinese, the Russians and the rest of the Axis of Oil.

But he coddles MSM like nobody's business. To clarify, he coddles certain personalities in the MSM like nobody's business and abhores the New Media.

You almost got me there but if I was a terrorist I would probably rather declare bankruptcy after being sued by Edwards that being permently interned under 50 feet of rock by a bunker buster launched by Bush/Cheney.

You remind me of my mom...SHE would write something like that...apologetic, because she's not so "web savvy", wondering if she "did it right"! At least you waded in to your knees, not your ankles!

So hey, give the old guy a break already!

O'Reilly bugs me, too. He's self-congratulating and pompous. He seems hell bent on hanging onto that 'independent' tag. It's annoying, admittedly. And he's made some excuses for the democrats to be sure. But he's cut the Bush administration quite a bit of slack as well, which is better than most MOR commentators. And he's a tough SOB when he gets his ire up. He delivers some very interesting perspectives on issues, misses some interesting perspectives, but always pays attention to the B.S. I scream at him through my TV, too...but he IS entertaining.

BTW, this is my first post, too. I'm not old, either, so I don't even have an excuse.

My husband heard O'Reilly tonight and said it was really bad, that O'Reilly is definitely a liberal. He told me about before dinner and doesn't ususually comment on the news commentators, unless Ann Coulter is on.

You know, you just might be on to something, but still I see this right up there with the potential fruits from prostitution and illegal narcotics malpractice: After bankruptcy, the terrorist could apply for a UN loan. After going through all the red tape needed for any UN action to pull you out of poverty (I refer to the Sudan), you'll be an honest man- or at least, far too old to even care about those 72 virgins (who will have by then grown fat and unattractive in paradise waiting around). Alas, we have a scenario people where Kerry Edwards would help to slow terrorism.

But he coddles MSM like nobody's business.

O'Reilly is still reeling from the attacks for the MSM and some of his old friends. He saw what they did to Gingrich and I think he was abit shaken recently.

O'Reilly quote on the MSM (paraphrased). They should just go ahead and put up the Bush-Evil, Kerry Good photos so we know what they are talking.

That's true. He was a bit harsher tonight, with the statistics showing the MSM bias in the past Bush/Mr.Horse debate.

Maybe there's hope for the guy Savage calls "the leprechaun". But he will have to do a lot to make up for his ridiculous positions early on about the Swift Vets and Memogate.

Well said. I always try to 'tune in' but sometimes I have to 'tune out'.

The universal thing that really turns me off to O'Reily (and this is the same thing that makes me tune out to Savage) is when they lose control. When you lose control in a debate with someone, you are ceding that control to them and they master the debate.

Take by contrast Zell Miller. He can be very intense, but still keeps his wits about him. He masters and marshals his passions instead of letting his passions master him.

It's a little bit like horsemanship I guess we might say on the farm.

I watch FoxNews all day in my studio and I beg to differ on the left of center part. The ones who have always worn their leanings on their sleeves are still doing the same thing. O'Reilly flows with the wind.. hmmmmm... maybe he has been friends with Kerry afterall. Brit Hume, John Fox, Linda Vester, Friends in the morning.. well, it's too late for my brain to think of them all but the ones that are true to the right still are. They have spent a lot of energy on a lot of subjects all of which I think are about like they always have been treated. O'Reilly is the one I'd like to punch most of the time so I turn the channel on something else for the 2 hours he is on. He's on 2 times in my area. Try the cooking channel. :-)
