The methodogy?..I thought it was about your need to brush up on typing(I certainly did)

What methodology of posting are we discussing?...and central to the mission of FR is promoting conservatism and during this particular election, defeating the most liberal Senator for President.

Generally what methodology of posting would you prefer?

Central to posting correctly on FR is clicking on the correct segment to post it in,freepmail the sidebar mod if in doubt ...a question isn't news, an observation isn't news and normally belongs on a thread..or it is a vanity and goes in chat...Too many vanities posted in news, activism push the good articles off the sidebar and the posters don't appreciate it.

pet-rock-skier is right. FR has become a frothing ocean of posts, each of so little consequence ... people respond too quickly, and each post is no more than a me-too, an impulse according nothing to the vaults of wisdom.

Few cogent lomg discussions are had, except as to those that were established in times when more sides to a issue were tolerated and the posting publica was more prone to reflect and reply rather than knee-kick react the latest mighty thoughtvurst that crossed the keyboarding consciousness.

Only a sinkspur or a howlin -- those with almost purebreed posting character, that is the ideation of character -- are recalled to mind by name, the rest of us -- just another temporary frothing of a wavetop.

I thought this was posted in General, but judging from the responses, I guess not.

Count yourself lucky -

Lately - when I post - it isn't posting - because the threads are getting pulled right and left -

I go to chat and still can't find them - what's an opinion to do - :)

take care now -

If a thread is pulled without linking it to another..it's gone. You'll have to post your comment on the previous thread if it is linked..

If you have posted once on a thread that's moved..click on the title in your comments section and it will still take you to it.

Thanks - I'm getting better at "looking" and my son gave me a good hint to go by - he said wait until you see a lot of other posts - then go for it -

And one of the pulled threads (at least that was the message I got when I tried to post) was put back - in news/act. area - surprises all the time around here - keeps the old brain active at least :)

Thanks again for the advice -

I'm glad no one reads my responses. I'm usually saying something stupid, so it saves me some embarassment.

Courage.
No one said it would be easy. Reading FR can be like drinking out of a fire hydrant. Choose threads that interest you, do your best, and try not to spend more than fourteen hours a day on the forum.
