I like Toast. Toast is good, especially with butter or strawberry jam.

Who won the debate is irrelevent. Focus on Nov. 2 instead of getting bogged down in minutia. Polls are already showing that the debate did not change who people are planning to vote for.
To: farsighted
Pah lease! The Press would cover the words "I lost the debate" and not cover a thing about how Kerry lied and the dangerous things he said.

Bush did not lose the Debate, he did not lie, like John Kerry. And more than that , Bush did not fall victim to John Kerry's attacks, they should of been ignored, because John Kerry knows no depths to his nastiness. Then the Debate would of been a real quagmire.

"I like Toast. Toast is good, especially with butter or strawberry jam." I prefer black raspberry preserves.
What is your feelings concerning orange marmalade?

I agree with you. The ONLY way Bush is going to shut them up is to admit it and turn it around and attack Kerry for the 'content' of the debate.

The American public would be very interested to know why he thinks this way instead of hearing the nonstop "we won" spin. Has anyone ever heard of ANY participant (Democrat or Republican anyway) in a Presidential debate that said they LOST the debate?

LOL ... one in agreement. Gimme a break. This is an excellent way to get the press to cover Kerry's lies.

There's only one way to lose these debates - that is commit a major feaux pas, like hesitate a moment too long when asked if you'd want the death penalty for your wife's murderer, etc.
Last night's debate will have zero effect on the election. The only way to possibly change that is to come out today and 'admit' you lost it.

Orange Marmalade is great when used in preparations for an orange sauce to use on Chicken or Duck...

Bush did not lose the Debate... I don't really care if Bush 'lost' the debate or not. I'm more interested in him not losing the election.

Calling all FReepers, calling all FReepers.
Attention, these are not real debates and should not be judged as such. These are set up to be policy press conferences.
Bush presented what he believed clearly as he has done from the beginning and Kerry, well, presented, ummm, nothing but crap.
Kerry lied, and made known his position on various foreign policy issues, which is a plus for Bush, since those positions are stupid.
Kerry lost and you will see in the 48hrs that presented everywhere...

LOL I support President Bush. I KNOW his heart is good, and it shows by the lead he has in the polls, but he stumbled all over the debate last night. I'm only sorry that he has two more debates to go. He's just not a good in debates.
To: DSBull
Since you are a 'newbie' I'll be kind to you. LOL I agree with most of what you said, but President Bush did NOT win the debate. That said, I'm not going to pick on you over it. LOL Btw, in all seriousness, welcome to Free Republic. :-)
