First off, I suggest you get a sense of humor, then work on getting a brain. After that head back to DU or wherever you trolls come from.
There are countless threads currently posted discussing the intricacies of the debate. If you wanted to see "real arguments" you could have gone to any of them. Yet your posting history shows that you have only posted on a thread discussing a minor, although interesting, observation about Kerry's behavior. Could it be that you are "insecure and paranoid" regarding your own debating skills?
We can't help it if some of our so called allies are failing to commit troops to this worldwide war on terror and expect us to clean up the world messes all while complaining about us.
Your guy Kerry can't make up his mind where he stands on the major issue of today. That being the War on Terror. Anyone who doesn't understand that Iraq is at the frontline of the WoT, needs to have their head examined.
Through the years, Kerry has been all over the place on the issue of Saddam Hussein and terrorism in general. Kerry opposed the Gulf War. Then years later said he supported it. Kerry supported PresClinton's efforts to remove Saddam Hussein from power. Four years later and after more then a dozen failed UN resolutions against Saddam's ruthless regime, Kerry voted the authorization for President Bush to undertake military operations to oust Saddam from power. Operation Iraqi Freedom was underway.
When Howard Dean advanced his anti-war agenda, Kerry turned around and voted against the $87 billion to support the troops fighting in Iraq. That came right after Kerry said on FaceTheNation, that any Senator who votes against the $87 billion to support the troops is "reckless" and "irresponsible".
As usual, Kerry's debate rhetoric produced a multitude of distortions, fabrications and outright lies last night. Here's a couple of Kerry's whoppers.
The US hasn't spent $200 billion on the war in Iraq. The figure is closer to $100 billion. Kerry says the war in Iraq is taking money away from social welfare programs. The fact is, PresBush has spent more of the federal budget on social welfare entitlement programs then any prior occupant of the Oval Office. The highest level of such spending in US history.
The US military didn't shift resources and manpower from the war in Afghanistan to the war in Iraq. Former General Tommy Franks shot down that leftwing Democratic Party propaganda during the post debate segment.
Fact. The NYCity subway system didn't close during the GOP convention, as Kerry asserted. That was an outright lie.
Face it, troll. Kerry engaged in his usual blend of Michael Moore/Howard Dean/MoveOn.org rhetoric, that may have rallied his faithful supporters, but it did nothing to change voters minds on who is the best man to lead America for the next four years. That man is George W.Bush. No doubt about it.
Not only are you anti-Bush and anti-American, you're anti-freedom. A first class Marxist-Leninist, commie pinko loser!
Carry on troll.
>>>>I am wondering if there is some meaning to the label "troll"?
Since you're obviously ignorant of life on FreeRepublic, I will explain. Around here, the term troll applies to anyone who comes onto the internets premier conservative website, with an agenda that is in direct opposition to the conservative agenda of FreeRepublic and with the specific desire to hook or bait FReepers into hostile debate, using inflammatory leftwing propaganda.
Btw, Right now the Bush adminsitration is handling the threats from Iran and N.Korea with resolve and conviction.
I don't think you're going to be on FR too long.
Don't let the door hit you on the way out.
BTW, did you read the Jim Robinson's statement which begins on FR's homepage? He's the founder and owner of this website, and you ought to read it. It'll give you an idea of the purpose and direction of FR.
You can read it even after you are kicked off.
