You get my vote for the worst vanity post ever on FR. There must be mindless fan websites for this!
Bush/Cheney 2004!
Thanks ... I may ask for this for Christmas. I watched Magnum from start to finish ... especially loved Higgins and Rick.
Almond Crisps Recipe 1
1/2 cup of butter
1 teaspoonful of vanilla extract
1 cup of powdered sugar
1/4 teaspoonful of almond extract
2 eggs
2 tablespoonfuls of milk
Blanched almonds, cut in halves
2 cups of flour
Cream the butter and gradually beat in the sugar. Reserve the white of one egg to glaze the cakes. Beat the yolk of this egg and the other whole egg; add to the creamed ingredients with the milk, flour and flavoring. More flour may be needed. The dough must be stiff enough to hold its shape when baked. Take a little of the dough onto a floured board, turn it in the flour with a knife, then knead slightly and with the rolling pin roll into a thin sheet. With a French patty cutter stamp the dough into rounds and stamp each round with the same cutter again, to divide each into a crescent and an oval shaped cake. Set these on buttered baking pans. Press upon each three halves of almonds, then brush over with the white of egg, reserved for the purpose, and sprinkle the whole with granulated sugar. Bake in a quick oven to a pale straw color.
Well, I am glad to read this, because it gives me an idea for a Christmas gift for my sister, who is a HUGE Magnum fan. Thanks!
What does this have to do with conservative activism in America?
Hold on a darned minute there partner!
I liked the show, too!
I enjoyed a little "off the beaten path" post every once in awhile.
If you didn't like the topic, why did you waste YOUR time to read it?
Go flame something else!
Thanks for the review! I was wondering about this. I just found it yesterday that it had been released.
My son flew back from the mainland with him. Nice guy.
My Aunt was a stand-in in the movies and I met many stars. Most were as their screen persona, but some were complete idiots. Nice that Tom is one of the good guys.
Didn't read it. Just passing through. Think I'll start a post on all the episodes of Green Acres and we can all discuss the psycho epistemology of a pig that never grows old.
Let me guess..
1) You are bored with politics
2) You are unaware that the election in 37 or 38 days will determine the future of this country
3) You live in a state -- NY or CA -- where the certainty of a Kerry win has driven you into deep denial
4) The whole idea of a possible Kerry Presidency depresses you so much that you lose yourself in old magnum PI films
My advice:
Get up, turn off the VCR or DVD, get out, get registered, vote early. You'll do something for your country and you'll feel better.
:)
He enforces the LAW you idiot!!
The connection is as plain as the foot on your face!!
Is this the season where Magnum takes off his shirt??
/sarcasm
**runs for cover**
You'll never find a prime time fictional TV show that does a better job of promoting family, military, honor, and country. It also has a pretty good working knowledge of firearms. And some of the episodes are very pro-religion.
But it has nothing to do with poilitical activism per se.
You're a woman, right? If you're a man, don't answer.
I was arrested for this in 1981.
