The odd thing is, Hagel is co-chair of the President's reelection committee in Nebraska. Obviously he feels that that position comes with absolutely no requirement to support or be loyal to the President.

On the bright side, Josef Stalin could co-chair W's re-election committee in Nebraska, and he'd still take the state.

I sent Hagel a blistering email after the latest eruption, promising to work for Hagel's opponent in any future election. Since I am a registered Republican in Nebraska, as well as faculty advisor to UNL College Republicans, I hope I'll at least get a reply from our allegedly Republican senator, although in my experience he is not responsive to his constituents.

Yes, the reason that Sunday talking head shows keep inviting him over and over and over again.

Yes, Republicans wanting face time on TV have learned that all they need to do is be critical of President Bush.

It would be nice if they also learn that the negative reaction of the blogs outweighs any publicity value they got from attacking President Bush on the Old Media.

Hagel might be a good place to start, and changing my tagline might be a first step.

Might be! If they ever get rid of that gecko, they could make it dramatic and hire my cat to do it

Hagel and the other guy's words were used this morning by CNN - when they gave their one sentence for news. The Socialist Democrats all say the same thing it seems
