LOL! Yeah, I signed up the 18th, sent money, and then I think within a day or so sweetliberty found me! It's been a blast.

We just went through a two hour tornado watch, warning and then alert. The grandkids were here while their mom went to the gym. I gave them their snacks and told them all to hush so I could listen to local radio news.

Six year old princess is getting really knowlegable of these "tornmato" warnings, as she calls them. She asked me where the flashlight and batteries for the radio were kept. And where was the safe room. I reminded her we had a basement. Then she started worrying because her other grandparents do not have one.

My daughter had to come home early because management at the gym made them go into an inner room and canceled the class.

Ain't tornado alley wonderful? LOL

So very sad for the wee ones.

Do the best that you can for them.

My heart breaks for all you guys.

It's surprising that Arkansas has two liberal Senators, yet you now trend more conservative than Michigan.

In Michigan the trend is Democrat (&%*%$#@), not like NY or Caleefornia, but hard to overcome the Union voter turnout stuff.

"Ain't tornado alley wonderful?"

Nope. That's the one thing I really hate here. And I DON'T have a safe place to go. I keep telling Nully, since he's so into basements, he should come dig me a storm cellar. LOL!

"It's surprising that Arkansas has two liberal Senators"

Well, because Pryor passed himself off as a conservative, a la RAT style. Of course, his voting record says otherwise, but RATs can't be bothered with facts. As long as they feel good about it, it's just fine with them.

Drat. I suppose I should go jump in the shower while I still can. I feel a catatonic state coming on. It has been an emotionally exhausting day.

Heck, our two Senators are so liberal, they hardly have to hide it either.....

I don't understand how the rats continue to do it so well.

Are those the same as "horse apples" out here?

I don't know but they may be. Some call them Osage oranges and other names around here. I have been to farmers markets that sell them by the pound as a spider repellent. I know it doesn't work though because I have put them in my basement and have had to throw them out with spider webs on them. LOL

So, you have named the rascally rabbit? I'm glad he is doing okay. How are you doing, Westy? With all the seasonal mists and rain there in Seattle, can't you just get a very large umbrella for you and Red Rover?

Oh, I'm chugging along more or less the same...lol

Yep, old Whitey seemed to be doing just fine..I went on passed him a ways, had some espresso and came back..He had moved quite a bit, but was still close to the brush along the river.....I haven't quite figured out how to keep Rover dry..Think the rain would just blow under an umbrella...Still working on the problem....Wasn't very nice out today, on the cold side.......

.....Westy.....
