There's a ten-day hike called The Shipwreck Trail or something like that... were you on that? Some of your description sounds like it. I always wanted to hike at least part of it, but it seemed pretty intense and of course I had no one to go with. I think it might meander into B.C. The coast trails sound so romantic anyway - full of shipwrecks, pirates, lost booty, gold coins :)

Thanks Swervie. I'm right now just trying to find out a contact number to John Campbell, our ambassador in Nigeria. I am having no luck.

Have never heard of The Shipwreck Trail...The Norwegian Memorial is the burial spot of some of the sailors of a Norwegian vessel that wrecked at the spot...Mass grave with a marker....Some of them survived though...I didn't tote a camera with me on the jaunt, so have no pics...

This one ran and was in good shape. That was a small, bare-bones tank! They had a couple others that were pretty messed up. To this day I regret missing out on it. Even if I only got it out onto the road a couple times, what a trip!

"Keep in mind I weigh between 80 - 84 lbs at any given time"

I hate you!

"My lifelong dream is to weigh 90 lbs (what a dream, huh?)."

Yeah; mine too. Unfortunately, I haven't seen 90 pounds since I was 10! (Did spend 3 or 4 years at 99 though).

"What else can I do?"

Pray....a lot. That has to be frightening.

Could not have been a curse, at worst a mixed blessing that definitely leaned toward blessing.

I used to weigh 85, but I was horribly sick, twice
(depression from a loss & then the flu for two weeks
that one year) & I haven't been able to maintain my
weight for very long since. I bounce back & forth
from 80 to 84 & back.

A few weeks after giving birth to me, my mom was back
down to 85 lbs. She had weighed more while in highschool
(she actually weighed 90) but lost weight. After 3 kids &
hitting her 40's, she finally went over 100 lbs.

I'm waiting, wondering what weight my future holds..

LONDON: A threat by an armed group against oil companies in Nigeria has rattled world markets, but experts said yesterday the rebels may lack the muscle to disrupt output significantly given a heavy federal military presence. An armed group accused of trafficking in illegally extracted crude has threatened to attack international oil facilities and personnel in the troubled Niger Delta region. The Niger Delta People's Volunteer Force said it would launch an "all-time war against Nigeria" from October 1, advising oil companies to leave the delta, which pumps all of Nigeria's 2.3 million barrels per day. "There has been an escalation of problems over the last three months in the Niger Delta - in particular the deployment of the Nigerian military in places like Port Harcourt has been accelerated," said David Cowan, an expert on Nigeria at the Economist Intelligence Unit. Click here "It's obvious that the use of the military in the delta region in the last few months means that the Nigerian government is going to take it very seriously," said Cowan.

I would think the oil platforms there are on a high priority list for the Marines and U.S.N. Those resources are to valuable to our economy at this point in time.

Well the building was retrofitted and we had only had 80 aftershocks by then and they were all going north on the fault so ...if you are born to drown you will never hang...

Got a good do too
