ecurbh is really the wiz with photoshop, but I drew our little hats! ;~D
Well, we have a bar, the Breakaheart Saloon, a carry out pizza parlor and a 7-11 type gas station/grocery. We grocery shop in Dayton (about 15miles away) and work and do most other shopping in Carson City (about 25miles).
I would love to have that hairstyle but there's no way unless I got a perm, my hair is stick straight. I'm getting pretty gray and I'm thinking of using some color, something I've never done permanently. I've used wash out color before but I think I'm getting too gray for that.
I really hope you're going to post your Christmas card for this year. These are really cool.
We will certainly post it! How we are going to get yet another horse to cooperate with a pose is going to be the challenge! Let alone getting the cat and dog in.
Lots of interesting history out that way. Any good western type museums, with settler and indian type information? I love studying old west history, a very exciting time and one I'm glad I didn't have to experience!!
Mine is getting grey too but I tell myself it is just highlights ;~D
The Nevada State Museum is in Carson City, with a lot of information and displays - indian, old west and flora and fauna, etc from Nevada. It is really nice. Then there is Virginia City, the town itself which is between us and Carson City in sort of a triangle. The whole town is a restored old west town and of course, tourist trap :) It is so much fun to go through though. Dayton is the oldest settlement in Nevada (another very small place like Stagecoach) and they have a museum. Almost all of the towns around have some type of museum covering at least their history.
I've always told my husband when he mentions week long camping trips that if the west had to have been settled by the likes of me, it wouldn't have happened. I consider Holiday Inn camping out. Well, I'm not quite that bad but the older I get, the more I like my comforts like hot showers, coffee pots that can be programmed and electric blankets.
My hair is really thick and coarse, and very curly, not wavy like Hairs. That would be so nice. I keep mine cut really short and it is almost all greay. I was thinking of putting some color in it for the Christmas party. My hairdresser was telling me that she can "weave" the color in and it will be highlighted with the grey. I thought that sounded kinda neat and am going to try it.
I was plucking mine out but had to quit before I plucked myself bald.
That sounds really pretty. Any chance we can get some before and afters?
My hair used to be very curly. Age or all the straighteners I used to use straightened me out:')
I'll try to get hubby to take some pictures. He is a great photographer with his 35mm but won't touch my digital. That's why no pictures of me riding today, only him. :)
Well Cindy bathed. I ended up doing it in the garage. SxxT! She shook vinegar all over me.
LOL If I'd known that would work, I'd have started 50+ years ago.
My Logan used to hide when he saw me with the ear bottle.... He was a terrible patient!
Tell your hubby that when I saw his picture I was reminded of Bonanza:')
I didn't have a bottle. I just tilted her head and poured it in from a paper cup.
