Horses give off alot of heat, maybe that helped.

I would think that they would have to sedate them pretty heavily.

I just spoke with the trainer. He said Sarah Lee doing fine and the only problem he has come across is with ropes. He said tying her or swing ropes near or over her gets her going. I tie her up with the lead rope so that must not be what he's talking about. I'm supposed to go out there next Sat and he's going to send her home a week from monday if nothing else comes up.

I know something else she doesn't like that he doesn't know that I'm working on. My son goofing around and put chicken noises on my cell phone. It also vibrates. I turned it on for her and she started backing up like what the heck is that. Okie, my other horse likes it. He'll rub his neck against the phone. He hasn't heard the chickens.. I had a sweat jacket on today and he didn't like me with the hood on though. Funny critters.

Miss Dawg, I must be slow. Who is Sarah Lee? I'm guessing not a snack cake.

That reminds me of a funny joke. A little girl was standing near the barber chair where her younger brother was getting a haircut. She was eating a snack cake. The stylest says, "honey, you're gonna get hair on your twinkie." She proudly says, "I know, my momma said I'm gonna get boobs, too!"

Sorry.

My telephone whinnies. It's a riot. Every time it rings when I'm riding, Tuffy stops dead in his tracks and looks around for that horse.

LOL. That's so funny. Have I told you the story about my grandson and hair under his arms?

Sarah Lee my gentle bombproof horse that dumped me. I like her so I sent her to reform school (a trainer) instead of shooting her.

No, I don't know the story about your grandson but it sounds interesting. Lay it on me.

What made Sarah Lee dump you? If Tuffy did that I'd be devastated.

He's 4. He was asking me when he would get hair under his arms like his daddy. I told him when he got about 12. A little later we went to get groceries . He was fussing because he wanted to ride in the front of the car. I showed him the sign where he had to be twelve. Walmarts was crowded and when we got to the register he announced loudly to all standing around that "Granny won't let me ride in the front seat of the car until I get hair under my arms"

Kids. Ya gotta love 'em!!

When my son was about 2 years old he showed my big, fat pregnant belly to a roomful of people at the post office. I was standing in line with him and there was a clown in there, a few people behind us. He wasn't entertaining, he must have just left a party or something. Anyway, Matt kept peeking out at him, from behind my tent dress. The clown tooted his horn at him, Matt lifted my dress up over his head and hid under it.

Uh oh. Any particular reason why you were mad?

AWWW how cute. Clowns are scary to some little kids. My SIL and BIL are professional clowns. My oldest grandson won't have anything to do with them when they are in costume.

Why was I mad? I was made because she dumped me on the ground:')

Hahaha, I know you were mad after the fact, I'm trying to figure out why she dumped you in the first place. Did she spook? Stung by a bee? Just over exuberant?

That's something I have beat myself up trying to figure out and finally decided I may never know. She had been fussy earlier. We were stopped, waiting for my husband in front of the barn. She wanted to turn to the barn. I wanted to go straight. We compromised and jumped around in the middle. Hopefully it was a fluke. I have had no other major problems and she's been very laid backed. I just wonder what they are doing to her with ropes.

Oh yeah, I remember that story. How long has she been at the trainer? Any problems so far?

I'm going to get ready for bed. I'll check back in the morning.

Good night, ladies!
