Yech! I'd have been tempted to set fire to the rag right there in the waiting room just to see what everyone would do.

I went to see my lawyer (and neighbor) yesterday and took her a list of things found wrong with my roof (ridge cap and flashings not sealed, etc.) and a copy of the invoice from the guy that fixed it. She's going to send a registered letter to the roofing company who installed it demanding that he repay us for the repairs and the damages caused by his shoddy work or be taken to court. She said that since he has been in business for so long, he will probably cough up the money-because if it goes to court, judges in this county are notorious for ruling in favor of county residents rather than companies and individuals from SA. Here's hoping...

We rarely show college hockey up here, except in recent years the few games of the national championships. I hadn't heard that they've planned to do so now. But Cherry might well not be interested. He doesn't call the games, he has a commentary segment during the first intermission called "Coach's Corner", during which he discusses NHL happenings with an all-round CBC sports handyman named Ron McLean, a witty guy (but typical wishy-washy Canadian lib) who ends most segments with pretty good puns; Cherry's always dumping on him (usually humourously).
