lol sorry, been using it for a long time and nothing beats it.

I've seen all the scare stories about it, but it just doesn't pan out in my experience. :)

If they are those little gray boxes with text in them it means you have a setting in XP that needs changing. Go to the Microsoft web site and do a search on POP UP ADS. It's a 20 second fix.

Yep seen that, and yes some of their business practices were questionable. But my personal experience with this software has been nothing but stellar performance since I put it on. It updates definitions at least weekly and it removes everything that it finds. I've just not had the experience that I've seen posted against it. If that changes, I will be sure to come here and make an apology and admit that I was wrong. But I've been using it for over 4 months now and my computer has been squeaky clean since I put it on. :)

Try this, go to the START icon on the bottom left of your screen. Select RUN and type in MSCONFIG. A tabbed menu will come up. CLick the SERVICES tab and then scroll down till you find the MESSENGER box. Deselect it. It should have NO check mark in it. If the ads you are getting are gray boxes with text it is that particular program which the spammers are exploiting. Once you click it, those ads will stop completely. If the ads are just your usual color pop up windows that will take ADAWARE to get them to stop.
