Jseth, I am the reason they invented spell checker.
And yes, Kerry said he would not be spending the money on the war on terror but on what he wants to give the American people. So the answer is yes the deficit would be the same.

We've all done this...usually it brings on a spate of well-intentioned word play...sorry to come down so hard...I often get caught up in the moment.

I know Betty Crocker isn't real, but if Mavis Beacon is, I sure would love to get some private typing lessons from her.
She could sit on my lap while I type.

Sorry, I promise it will not happen again. I do think this is funny, but I didn't really want to misspell. (LOL)

If he/she is a "sleeping troll" from DU, then they have a not-so-rare congenital disorder in which they were borm without a sense of humor...
To: Lurking2Long

To: jseth
jesth, hope you are not a troll...if not, please post on...
To: jseth

Mr. Seth, welcome to Free Republic.
I personally thank you for your service to our country as a veteran myself.
Your grammar and spelling skills may be lacking at times, but I can also claim that fault.
If indeed you are a Proud Republican, someone who understands the difference between good and evil, then you will be hard pressed to find better friends than you will find here at Free Republic.
I ask you, please give us another chance to not laugh at your keyboard skills.

To answer your original question:
If Sen. John F'n. Kerry was to spend all of the money from the Iraq war on domestic plans, wouldn't there still be this deficit?
Yes Sir, there would still be a deficit.
On the other hand, please ask yourself this: would you rather owe the bank money, or be dead?
That, my friend, is what the upcoming election is about.
Remember 9/11, and vote Bush.
