ANYWHERE IS
I walk the maze of moments
But everywhere I turn to
Begins a new beginning
But never finds a finish
I walk to the horizon
And there I find another
It all seems so surprising
And then I find that I know
You go there youre gone forever
I go there Ill lose my way
If we stay here were not together
Anywhere is
The moon upon the ocean
Is swept around in motion
But without ever knowing
The reason for its flowing
In motion on the ocean
The moon still keeps on moving
The waves still keep on waving
And I still keep on going
You go there youre gone forever
I go there Ill lose my way
If we stay here were not together
Anywhere is
I wonder if the stars sign
The life that is to be mine
And would they let their light shine
Enough for me to follow
I look up to the heavens
But night has clouded over
No spark of constellation
No vela no orion
The shells upon the warm sands
Have taken from their own lands
The echo of their story
But all I hear are low sounds
As pillow words are weaving
And willow waves are leaving
But should I be believing
That I am only dreaming
You go there youre gone forever
I go there Ill lose my way
If we stay here were not together
Anywhere is
To leave the thread of all time
And let it make a dark line
In hopes that I can still find
The way back to the moment
I took the turn and turned to
Begin a new beginning
Still looking for the answer
I cannot find the finish
Its either this or that way
Its one way or the other
It should be one direction
It could be on reflection
The turn I have just taken
The turn that I was making
I might be just beginning
I might be near the end.

"November"
The leaves have fallen to the ground
With rustling sound so soft.
Soon winter will come marching in,
With leaden skies aloft.
Bright autumn hues of red & gold
Have faded to dull brown,
But soon an ermine mantle,
Will cover all the ground,
These precious days we'll treasure,
When winter's in full bloom,
The memories of our golden times,
Will banish all the gloom.

Ware the Wind
Ware the wind! It seeks you out,
And does not give a warning shout,
But keens a wail, of laments dread,
And pounces on the unwrapped head.
Shrug into covers, out of doors,
Scurry quickly on the moors,
Listen sharp for crack of twig,
Hustle to the next warm swig.
This be Winter! Aye, and more,
Theres a Devil at the door,
Seeking fire like the sinned,
Huddle warm, and ware the wind!

Hiya, Sam.
Here it is November, 2004. November's are all the same regarding trees with no leaves and ushering in December.
However, each November is unique of each individual. A special memory of years past, a special birthday of someone very dear, any number of events making November as being special.
Listening to today's musical selections - all good ones.
Thanks for all Sam.
I am feeling a little better today.

Good morning, Bob!
Ah good verse on a Monday morning. Thanks much.

I discovered second tears birthing
pain on a moonscape
it put the weary spirit of the man
through a starlight placebo
a justification - the trickster
found regret for falling in love
with his desire
a tragedy of life
lost to watch her live.

An Autumn Poem
Thus my song:
shouting stag;
drips down ice;
summer sags.
high wind wails.
sun can't pierce;
short its course.
sea swims fierce.
red run ferns,
shape concealed.
frequent calls
greygoose peal
fetters frost
seagulls strong.
time is ice;
thus my song.
