The poem describes the chemical composition of sand, and the atomic structure of the Silicon and Oxygen atoms.
It goes from poetry to chemistry, and from physics to spirituality. That probably explains why it's so long...
Here's the part I like. I had just described all the Silicon and Oxygen atoms in the sand, and the sky, and the ocean...
If you want to count your blessings,
You can start down at the beach.
Inviting everyone to count all the atoms in the sand, the sky, and the ocean ... that's a
lot of blessings.
