I absolutely agree.
After watching that big pile of hooey in Boston (I'm referring to the convention - not just Ted Kennedy), the best thing we can all do is go volunteer.
I've written a few checks for Bush-Cheney and the next best thing I can do is go to the local B-C'04 office and do some hands-on work.

The upcoming Republican Convention should be a great spectacle.
Although, Athens, Greece was an odd choice of places to have it, don't you think?

Memo from the Secretary of Voter Registration
Due to the complications of verifying tabulations of upgraded electronic voting machines there will be a redistribution of voting time periods. Republicans will be voting on November 2nd. Separate - but identical - voting machines will be used on November 3rd for Democrats. Because of the nature of this revised voting procedure - U.N. Monitors will be supervising all locations.

I think he/she is just a new poster who is wanting to be active on the forum but isn't that familiar with the rules for posting threads.
BTW, welcome to FR. We normally discourage vanity posts that could just as easily be included as a reply to another thread. But you're not really a member of the club until you've been flamed or been the focus of public mockery. So you're really doing just fine. :-)

"We can still lose - never lose sight of that!!!"
Lose? We're not going to lose. Ketchup Boy is toast.
On today's Rush Limbaugh show, during Kerry's press conference, Rush kept interrupting the audio. It was classic...
Kerry: I have voted to hold Saddam Hussein accountable.
Rush: You haven't voted all year!
Kerry: John Edwards and I have made it clear: we're going to destroy the terrorists.
Rush: How!?!
Kerry: There are so many other things that we could be doing...
Rush: Like?
Kerry: ...that also reach out to the Muslim world.
Rush: WHAT ARE THEY?! Name them! Tell us a specific!
Kerry: Many of the recommendations are in the report.
Rush: What report?
and on and on and on.
More here.

Welcome to Free Republic. Its great that you have donated financially to the cause, and even better that you are donating your time. While most of us here feel that the election is in the bag, none of us are planning on slowing down our efforts until after the Big Day.
Beware the moose!

Amazing how many people who feel it is important to vote for Bush, but don't want to put a bumper sticker on their precious car for fear it might damage the paint or because they think stickers are unsightly. I didn't want to damage the paint on my car either, so I taped my sticker to the inside of my rear window. Carefully avoiding the lines from the defrost that run across the window, of course.
If someone still declines the sticker after being told of this solution, then they can't really feel that showing support for the President is important.
