Thanks Fawnn, for the suggestion regarding pesky squirrels. I had thought of red hot pepper and did not take action when I planted my flowers. :-( I will never learn to act on my gut feelings.

It's a steamy hot evening up here in Wisconsin tonight, with no rain or even breeze coming for a while. But, at least I'm back on duty!

After renting 3 times, we bought one.......somehow or other, one squirrel three times, or separate squirrels, ended up in the fireplace. They could also be heard in the attic over my bed.

They now live in the woods a couple miles away.

I have no place to take the beast after it's in the trap. There are, too, many of them. This is the city and they come in droves. The neighbors are feeding them cracked corn and for salads they have my plants.
