WOW!! I love Clematis. I have a funny story... One of my friends wanted to get some of these gorgeous vines for her mailbox, so she went to the nursery and asked where she could find the Chlamydia. He he he!! The nursery folks got a good laugh!!
Inspiration

Breathing in.
Breathing in life.
Breathing in joy.
Remembering moments when I was a boy.

And what is so rare as a day in June.
And who doesnt grow wings when they look at the moon?
Rainbows and sunshine and flowers and rain.
And the joy of the hope that well all meet again.

Ive been playing all day in the loveliest park,
My companions dont see me, its growing quite dark.
I leap over a puddle in a delicate flight,
When suddenly everythings flooded with light.

Im held by my heels, and Ive lost all my clothes,
And Im shocked by the size of a curious nose.
I scream out in terror, and I see a big smile,
And in my Hide-and-Seek, Ill be champ for a while.

Life is a thread that goes stitching through cloth,
Like a boat sailing over and splashing through froth.
My companions will call, but I wont come in free,
For my freedom has grown to as big as can be.

Its now time to begin with a new game to play,
And a lot of new rules I must learn on this day.
Though I look all around I do not see a cake,
So my birthday arrives like my forgotten wake.

I must tend to the tasks that confront me today,
And forget all the stuff that I left back that way.
I will have to start over, though I dont see quite how.
Please forgive me for not getting back to you now.

This Clematis is now 9 years old. She is loaded to bare again this year. It's cool now so that will hold the blooming back, but when she blooms she is a beauty.

VERY nice!

And by the way, I have always wondered this about you... If you are nicknamed Bob, is your real name Robert???? ;o)

[G] ROLY POLY, [C] eatin' corn n' [G] 'taters
Hungry ev'ry minute of the [D] day
 [G] ROLY POLY, [C] gnawin' on a [G] biscuit
Long as he can [D] chew it, it's [G] OK.

[C] He can eat an apple pie
An' [G] never even bat an eye
[A] He likes everything from [A7]soup to [D] hay
 [G] ROLY POLY, [C] daddy's little [G] fattie
 Bet he's gonna [D] be a man some-[G] day.

ROLY POLY, scrambled eggs for breakfast
Bread n' jelly twenty times a day
ROLY POLY, eats a hardy dinner
It takes lots of strength to run and play.

Pulls up weeds and does the chores
And he runs both ways to all the stores
He works up an appetite that way
 ROLY POLY, daddy's little fattie
Bet he's gonna be a man someday.

I tried to grow it by my mailbox, but it's too dry. The only flowers that do really well there that I've found are straw flowers...
Have you tried Morning Glory?
No I haven't. Do they take a LOT of sun well???
LOL

I have not heard this tune in years. *HUGS*
Oh I am sure they are hardy, get some wild ones, can't kill them off!! LOL

 Song: I.G.Y

One of my favorite all time songs. With that, I bid you a good night!

I.G.Y.

Standing tough under stars and stripes
 We can tell
 This dream's in sight
 You've got to admit it
At this point in time that it's clear
 The future looks bright
On that train all graphite and glitter
 Undersea by rail
Ninety minutes from New York to Paris
 Well by seventy-six we'll be A.O.K.

What a beautiful world this will be
What a glorious time to be free

Get your ticket to that wheel in space
 While there's time
 The fix is in
You'll be a witness to that game of chance in the sky
You know we've got to win
Here at home we'll play in the city
 Powered by the sun
Perfect weather for a streamlined world
There'll be spandex jackets one for everyone

What a beautiful world this will be
What a glorious time to be free

On that train all graphite and glitter
 Undersea by rail
Ninety minutes from New York to Paris
 (More leisure for artists everywhere)
A just machine to make big decisions
Programmed by fellows with compassion and vision
We'll be clean when their work is done
We'll be eternally free yes and eternally young

What a beautiful world this will be
What a glorious time to be free

Actually, my real name is Bobby. That's why folks call me Bob.
And my pen name is Brian.
 When it isn't NicknamedBob.

Oh GREAT song Diva. Thanks, and G'Nite to you. *HUGs*
Ah-ha!! Thansk for clearing that up for me. (I'm very interested in boy names right now for some strange reason! He he he!!)
Yeah, can't kill them.
Well, ya'll, I'm about to the end of my ability to carry on intelligent conversation for tonight!! Need to rest so I'm good for work tomorrow!! HUGS all around and thank you for the Lair Ms. FEather. I adore reading the poetry of the true talents that haunt it!!
Thanks Star, and rest well.
My wife had a dog named Bobby when she met me. She always liked that name.

Only a little confusing. When she would yell in anger, we would just look at each other.

Have you ever seen a dog shrug its shoulders?
