Beautiful poem by Robert Frost. Thank you, Victoria.
If I had answered all of my pings today, I would look for a cute picture. Awww heck ... I may see what I can find anyway. LOL
"I know we cannot sell anything on FR ..."
That shouldn't be a problem, as it is to protect our tax status as a non-profit.
We can post a link, just as we do for the coffee mugs, and other items. A publishing company might be willing to make some accommodation, not monetary -- just cooperation, because of our communication needs and separation between artists, et cetera -- in exchange for the additional exposure to the public.
Any profit should devolve to the individual artists and other contributors, and to the publishing company, which presumably is FOR profit, not to Free Republic the corporate entity.
Thank you Amy....... are you going on the cross country tour with Mr. Jim and family? Unfortunately they will be in Houston just weeks before we are moving there...........
Glad you liked the poem. :-)
Figure that calf is about the size and weight of a big dog.
That gives you an idea of just how big that "Buffalo Gal" is!!
They are BIG animals!!
And I wouldn't want to be walking around that pasture with just a rake in my hands...
No, I can't go with them. I sure wish I could, tho. They are driving and I'm flying. I had hoped to meet some FReepers in Ohio or Indiana but I don't think it will work out. I may be able to recruit a couple of newbies. : )
I am leaving on the 25th and will be gone for 10 days. Jim and his family are leaving on the 27th and will be gone for three weeks. From what he has told me, they should meet lots of FReepers and have a blast doing it!!!
Hey ... you are getting out of PA? It is great that you are moving back home.
A few years ago, when we were in Yellowstone, the traffic stopped for a herd of buffalo. They were crossing the street and all of the cars were surrounded. Your car rocked if they bumped it. It was amazing to watch those beautiful animals ..... but no way was I getting out of my car. LOL
I don't think a rake would have been much of a weapon but I liked that picture.
Good evening, AG
By the time you see this, it will be Wednesday so ....
Happy Wednesday. Have a wonderful Day.
This is very late but .....
It was great to see you today. ; )

You are welcome to use anything I have posted. Say the word and I will cover you up.

You silly gurl, you didn't say anything bad or otherwise. I said "get down!" in reference to your song. I wanted to know if it was still okay or cool in this day and age to say "get down!"
Bob's got my back.
