As a Texan, I can totally relate to your love of fencing. Me too. I love repairing fence - call me crazy, but it is satisfying.

I've got you beat, I'm 58 yrsa. old and decided that I was going to fulfill a lifelong dream. I broke 4 ribs about 2 months ago because I did what NO ONE is supposed to do, I bought a young horse. A 3 yr. old rocky. Should have bought an older horse

So, what is on your agenda for the week, wedding plans:). I imagine the excitment is really starting to build.
I am going to pick up the mare that I'm riding for the guy from the feed store today. It rained here Sat. so I didn't get her then.
When I get back from getting her, I will probably ride Rusty. Then will go help Mack paint on his new building.
Kind of disappointing about Smarty Jones. I felt bad for the guy that won. He was apologizing, but said he had to do his job. I think the jockey on Smarty Jones may have let him go a bit too soon, but then we can all second guess, but it really looked like he just gassed out.
Tomorrow is the funereal for CS son.

Today I finish washing all the bedding in the house and getting the guest room ready, Tomorrow we meet with the pastor one more time, at the beach house!
Been rainy here too, getting it all out of it's system. ;~D
Boy I hope CS is holding up. My heart goes out to her to have something like that happen that you can't ever prepare for.
Ouch. Welcome to the thread! So what are you doing now with the dream? - Are you going to be able to move on with this horse, or are you looking for an older one?
I'm sorry to have to ask, but when exactly is the date of your wedding. I don't know that I have ever seen it.

Saturday the 19th! Right at noon.
We'll have a webcam for friends to watch.... many from the hh are coming out here, but of course not everyone can, and we're gonna try to rig it so our friends can ~kinda~ watch. ;~D

I just got back from trying to ride Rusty, but it's raining and looks like it could get bad, so I came home after only about 15 minutes.
I have the mare, and took some pictures of her. Mack is useing the computer right now. As soon as he is done I'll post them.
She is a roan, but Rusty is prettier:), She doesn't have any black points, and she is as fat as the town dog right now. You can tell she will be a tank when she is in shape.

Yeah - I am the last to accuse others of being fat, or keeping fat horses.... but that is one tubby mare! ;~D
