Thanks for the great tunes, ms. feather!
I do believe supper out may be off. Hubby still hasn't come inside and he'd said he was gonna take me to an Italian restaurant in Huntsville. Gettin' kinda late for that now.
 Figures.
 There's alway tomorrow night.

*giggle* It's nobody's fault but mine that my birthday wasn't mentioned last week. I didn't say anything to anyone about it.

At my age, I'm just glad to wake up each day (sort of) Ugh, but waking up is hard to do some days. Could have a little to do with not getting enough sleep. LOL!

    True, true.
That, and those of us who prefer wandering at night DO tend to be somewhat picky about birthdays.
(Isn't there a law against them? Didn't the high council declare them a blasphemy?)
/ slight joke.

If no-one spills the beans on me, I'm likely to forget my birthday this year.
Unless SIS rats me out.. again.

LOL! Looks like I get to hang around a little while tonight, too. Apparently the evening's plans have been changed.

    Yup.
Been wandering during the day -not good for my hair color.
That keeps up too long, I'll start color shifting to my 'redhead' phase.
*ugh*

What've you been up to lately?

Been wandering the day...and night...lately. It gets busy this time of year around the farm.
Outside work during the day, house work after supper, then wait my turn to get my hands on the 'puter. LOL! Gotta get a second one soon!

Hmm.. how ot get the High Council to declare birthdays illegal..

Ah yes, farm stuff.
Mending the fencing here and there, rounding up straying critters, and making sure stuff is working after the winter cold, and the spring mud.
*ugh*
And tracking down birthing animals that are stupid enough to wander far off into nowhereland to drop little ones.

Fortunately, the only critters on this farm are the kitties. Ok......and the deer, possums, racoons, skunks. LOL!

LOTS of mowing, working in the flower beds (a bumper crop of weeds this year. grrrrrrr!), getting the garden area ready for planting the veggies, getting the outside of the house ready for painting (we never got it painted last fall), all that fun stuff.

Helping hubby' aunt with things she needs done takes a bit of doing, too. She's not driving much so we take turns playing taxi driver when she needs to go somewhere. It all adds up and before we know it, time's run out...and energy, too. LOL!

Coolbeans, just deer fencing to deal with around garden stuff.

Had to help out with the missus former mother in law's flowerbeds last week.
(The missus is still friends with her ex-hubby's mom.. odd, right?)

But I had to remove the dead peony stalks so that the new growth doesn't tangle up on the dead stuff when it comes time to weed all over agin and trim off spent buds.
At least the deer didn't eat the roses this year.
But the one doesn't look good.
It got nibbled last year, and then got black spot mid summer last year.
It's barely hanging in there as it sits.
And one of the others, supposedly a granda flora, has suddenly decide to become a climbing rose.
So her roses need LOTS of attention when I can get to them fully.

    Grabbed that from some website..
It was hysterical, and.. well.. in the Dimensional Doors thread I had initially wanted ot use it in, the theme at the time was pirates..
*sigh*
Thanks!
Wonder what inspiration this whole series of images will spark off?
Bats, and pirates..
Hmm...
