Noooo! I missed that, thank god.
Just a few minutes ago, we had a doe and THREE fawns out on the hill behind our house. Triplets!
Did ya see this one .. I'm surprised they let it get out.
That caption was something about his facial reaction after missing his shot

That's really cool about the fawns .. they are so cute when they're young ... but watch your garden when they get bigger .. they'll eat everything in sight
Our yard is fenced, with wire mesh in the back, and redwood the rest of the way around. We've lived here nearly two years now, and never had any deer in the yard. However, they come down the street in the front, and they'll eat the gardenias and roses. I'm told that scattering shavings of Irish Spring soap around them helps, but won't stop them if they're really hungry.
Yeah, I saw that photo. Very humanizing, eh? Did he blame his miss on his secret service detail?
If you plant things they don't like the smell of will help some .. Marigolds are one flower they tend to stay way from.
It's good that your yard is fenced in to protect your backyard. Down at my mother's neighborhood, many of the neighbors put chicken wire fences around many bushes and plants to protect them from all the deer.
I'm sure he did .. it's always everyone else's fault
Like learning his first cuss word while driving a tractor
Well I gotta go work on things for dinner tonight .. I'll pop in later
Hope you have a wonderful 4th of July
THanks. I'm sure we will. However, this morning I'm doing laundry, and will go do the shopping. Hubby is grouting the stone he put down on the floor in the master bathroom. Travertine - it looks wonderful! I think we'll do the same in the kitchen. We also plan to put it in the guest bathroom, as well. Nature stone looks so lovely. It's not that expensive, and hubby did the work himself, so it just doesn't cost that much. :)
That would be "natural stone".
I've got a lot to do today too, but I won't be doing any of it outside. I woke up to pouring rain. We've sure had a lot this year! That's okay though. I have plenty to do inside. You should see the mess! And I can't really get the kitchen stuff put away till I paper the shelves and drawers, so I'm gonna have to get busy pretty quick.
Now where the heck is that tape measure?
Oh, that is gorgeous!
What? Aren't trap endangered?
Here's one of Tyler when he was 3.
.
Oh, how neat! Did you get pictures?
No. My husband was hollering at me to come look, and I was just getting ready to shower, so I wrapped a towel around myself and came running out. I didn't particularly want ot stand at the window naked, there are sometimes people strolling on the hillside out back! The deer weren't there very long, so I didn't have time to get my camera. Rats. Little cuties, though. I'll keep watching for them, and maybe I can get some photos soon.
Not with Kerry shootin' at 'em.
Jeremiah was three in that picture taken at the county fair.
LOL!
Could give us a little knowledge of the points of interest?
Sure it counts its just you pop in and say I have 5 ligits funkle and than disappeare! LOL!
