Politically Correct.
We have been informed that the Arabs do not like to be called towel heads.
The item they wear on their heads is actually a small sheet
Effective immediately, please call them little sheet heads.
Thank you for your cooperation.

Nice bug, Val! Now that I have my computer back up and running, and upgraded, I'll be working on my photos. I have TWO storage cards full up of digital images that I need to do something with. I bought a book on digital photography, and have actually been spending some time reading the manual that came with my camera (imagine that). So, I'm hoping that in the near future, I can improve my photos.

Healing takes time, and you never stop missing them.True story. My dad will have been gone for 13 years as of July 31, yet I still think of him so often and wish he were here - there are so many things I'd love to tell him. A couple of weeks ago, I was listening to talk radio while fixing dinner (a local show, Brian Sussman on KSFO) was talking about the death of Reagan, and the death of his own father, and I just broke down and started to cry. Not very comforting, perhaps, but I think it's a whole lot better than not remembering your loved ones, and not feeling any loss. What is gone, however, is that raw pain and anguish that was there at the beginning - that does heal. It is just impossible not to stop missing someone you loved.

In the spirit of John Kerry Jeopardy, I share this with you:
John Kerry-Oke. Click on the link next to the frightening photo of John Effin' Kerry. Brian Sussman, mentioned in my previous post, does a brilliant job of mockery here!

It's very nice here, with lots of fluffy white cumulus clouds.
Jessie just bounced in with the 4th installment of Harry Potter. Talk about a tome. I don't know how she carried it over here.. lol.
