Possible tornado sightings

STANWOOD, Wash. -- The National Weather Service said Saturday evening that it was investigating reports of possible tornados in northwest Washington, but did not immediately confirm any.

The National Weather Service in Seattle said it had received reports of at least one funnel cloud near Interstate 5 in the Stanwood area, but had not confirmed that it touched the ground, which would qualify it as a tornado, said meteorologist Dana Felton.

There were no immediate reports of damage, although a weather service investigator will visit the area on Sunday, Felton said.

Washington has had at least five tornados in the calendar year. That's well over the yearly average of 1.8, according to the National Weather Service. They have ranged in geography from the Spokane area in northeast Washington, to Sumas in northwest Washington, to La Center in southwest Washington.

More unsettled weather is expected in Washington on Sunday, Felton said.

The Trojan Horse of Immigration

“When will the fighting end?” Persaeus, niece of the king of Troy asked Achilles as they sat in the tent. “It never ends!” the Greek warrior, played by Adonis Brad Pitt replied, in the hit movie, Troy.

War wages throughout human history. Tyrants come and go. Great nations rise and fall. As was said in the movie, soldiers die with no remembrance.

Today, our soldiers die in Iraq for a country that does not want us in its land. Once we leave, another Saddam will arise from the ashes and subdue that country. Sunnis will slaughter Shiites who will slaughter Kurds, and as Achilles said 3,200 years ago, “It never ends.”

Another kind of invasion ‘never ends’ by accelerating into the United States of America today. It’s the Trojan Horse of immigration. While our soldiers give their lives in order to free a nation that smells more like the futility of Vietnam, we lose our freedom by the day via a pernicious invasion of unending humanity.

Unrestricted illegal and unending legal immigration at 2.3 million annually inundates America with a betrayal that will prove more horrific than 9/11 and more devastating than the Vandals who overran Rome.

We possess the greatest army in the world, yet while our soldiers die 10,000 miles away, our borders buckle with enemy combatants more deliberate than the Last Samurai. Our danger is more imminent than Hector’s death by Achilles. Our ‘king’ Bush stands at the gates of the White House (Troy) oblivious that the Trojan Horse is unleashed 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Our citizens are massacred by--losing their jobs, schools, language and communities. Diseases we had vanquished in First World America sicken us—16,000 new cases of tuberculosis, 7,000 cases of leprosy and thousands of cases of hepatitis.

Pareus, Hector’s brother, when seeing the Trojan Horse, said, “Burn it here on the beach.” But their father, King of Troy, (played by Peter O’Toole) listened to his counsel who said, “Bring it into the city as a tribute to the gods.” In present-day America, Karl Rove, Bush’s counsel, advises with similar ignorance.

Trojans pulled the wooden horse into the city. Greeks jumped out of its bowels in the dead of night and opened the gates. More Greeks entered. They lit fires that burned Troy. Karl Rove will prove the man who invited the burning of America. He advises Bush that mass immigration is good and Bush vacantly takes Rove’s advice.

If you examine America today, immigration is our Trojan Horse. It’s killing our country as surely as the Greeks burned Troy. Immigration will add 200 million people to this country by mid century. It will prove our undoing if allowed further countenance in our country.

Just as Achilles brought more of his warriors into Troy--the more we bring people from the Middle East, China, India and Mexico--the more they enclave their own. That is why Al-Qaeda thrust a sword into our World Trade Towers. Where are they planning their next attack?

Below us, the opportunist Mexican government sends its own illiterate masses whom ‘colonize’ our country in ever increasing numbers. More than 9.2 million Mexicans transplanted themselves into our country. They bleed us by sending back $15 billion to their mother country annually. This does not include the billions of dollars we spend to educate their young, housing assistance or medical services provided at our cost.

How fast are they colonizing us? Mario Obledo, founding member of the Mexican-American Legal Defense and Educational Fund (MALDEF), (the most anti-American group in the US today), and former California Secretary of Health/Welfare, speaking on the Tom Leikus radio talk show said,

"We're going to take over all the political institutions in California. In five years the Hispanics are going to be the majority population of this state." Caller: "You also made the statement that California is going to become a Hispanic state and if anyone doesn't like it they should leave - did you say that?" Obledo: "I did. They ought to go back to Europe."

He belongs to a growing group of Mexicans, Reconquista Aztlan (re-conquest), that demands California, Texas, New Mexico and Arizona be brought under Mexican rule.

At this critical juncture in history, will the Hector’s, Persaeus’ and King of Troy or even our own ‘King’ of the United States wake up in time to close the gates of Troy? Will we stop the Trojan Horse of immigration from entering? Will Bush’s main counsel, Karl Rove, wisely advise our vacant-eyed president before it’s too late. Will Americans wave flags for our boys in Iraq while our own country burns in chaos and becomes yet more kindling on the ash heap of history with this immigration invasion? Will we capture Osama bin Laden (Achilles) and his band of Al-Qaeda agents before he torches us?

The people of Troy made their worst mistake by giving blind faith to their king and leaders trusting they would protect and save them. They were wrong. They died and Troy was lost.

So far, Bush can’t see what’s happening from his Temple of Apollo (White House) and his trusted advisor, Karl Rove, lacks the mental acuity of a prairie dog as to history and the current reality invading America. Our Congress stands at the portals of time as defiantly out of touch as was the Council of Troy. So what will save this country from the Trojan Horse of immigration?

You, fellow American! Not your inaction. Your action. Not your gripping. Your planning. Not going it alone. Your banding together. Not your mumbling. Your raised voice collectively. Not your remote. Your finger on the telephone buttons. Not idle wishing. Your action on the Internet. Without your response, this country and your children’s future are as surely lost as the residents of Troy 3,200 years ago. Write me and I will direct you to the most powerful tools at your disposal to stop the Trojan Horse of immigration.

We're having a really lazy day here. Carly slept till 11:30 and would have slept more if I hadn't woke her up .. she has a cold and is coughing a lot, seems she still not over being sick, but at least she doesn't have a fever any more.

It was a long day yesterday at the party ... but I was a really good girl and stayed as far away as possible from my one brother

My sister brought up all my dad's letters from the war for me to scan onto a CD. I've been reading them all last night and this morning and I still have a bunch more to read

But I'm still a bit confused .. My mom always said dad had enlisted .. but then my one sister said mom was wrong and said he was drafted. But reading these letters, it sounds like he did indeed enlist.

Oh well .. not sure what my sister was talking about.

I also found out something else .. My dad wanted to be a lawyer when the war ended and had taken some correspondence courses during the war

It's a long story, but from what I was told us, dad's mother didn't want him to go to college because he was needed at home to work and bring money home. His father died shorterly after being gassed while is was in the army in WWI

In the early 90's I read a novel by Larry collins "Maze"
it was about "Psychotronic Weapons" which can caused changes in one health like heart attact or long term disease etc.

I always beeb hauted by the idea that we it was reported that Reagan had Alzheimers and we as a people were deprived of his comforting words made me think this could have happen.

He was always healthy and took care of him self in most cases the on set of Alzheimers in many is becaused one was inactive and the old saying is, "if you don't use it you loose it", be it our musles or our mind

In the book the Maze it tells how a brain scan is taken at Bethesda Hopitals on leaders and given a case # and if the number is known this knowledge can be used to alter a person.

The contempt some have had for Reagan over the years always made me wonder for if he was able to speak once in a while or write upliting books it would make the agenda of evil very difficult!

Glad to hear Carly is better.. I hate fevers in kids. It's a little lazy here too, although I don't know why I say that. Al's been cementing the cobble-stone wall he built around the big garden, and I've been cooking a pot roast dinner, and making a Washington Cream Pie. I guess I think it's lazy because I'm watching movies while I work and it's cold and cloudy. Makes it feel like there's nothing else to do.

I think it's really special to have those letters and being able to keep them on disk. I wish we had had the opportunity to do that with the letters Al's mother had from her great grandfather, I believe, during the Civil War. Unfortunately his sister's daughter took them without our knowledge and put them into a Museum in VA. They helped her with her taxes or some such silly thing.. Unless we go there, we will never see them again or the old leather pouch they were in. Some things can make you so damned mad. They are preserved but untouchable now, and out of the family for good.

The letters told how much he loved his wife and the kids, and then he was put in prison for quite awhile. The day they let him out and he could go home, he died on the streets of Richmond I think from starvation. Every time I read them it made me cry. He lived thru the war but never got home to his (precious) wife and children.

Don't let anything happen to yours.. You are so lucky to have the chance to record them.

Yes, one can tell a fair amount form the serial number...If it started with a 6 and was one number shorter the guy had enlisted before the draft ever started...If it was like the examples I gave before and started with a 2 he was National Guard....The second number in the 1,2 and 3 examples was the Corp Area he lived in...19XXXXXX was an enlistee from 9th Corp area. I use 9th Corp as an example since I was in the 9th Corp Area here in WA. State..Have no idea how things are now. So many have went into the services since then there is probably a whole other system in use now...

Yea, it was pretty neat reading these letters .. he must have really liked being at Ester Field because he mentioned how much he could see himself staying in Louisiana instead of back in Philly and how nice the people were down there.

He was stationed in one area (not sure where) but he didn't like the camp at all .. talked about the bugs and how one day he was woken up by a cow licking his feet .. The kids got a kick out of that when I read it to them.

Oh and I also found out that at one point he was an MP
