hey, CG! Long no, no chat.
I believe I've officially entered Old Fartdom. I bought a magnifying glass with a little bifocal insert so I can read small print, like street names on maps.
How are you doin'?

Just random speculation here, but I am wondering if there is some kind of connection between the arrest of the white Muslim lawyer in Portland Saturday and the discovery of Peter Berg's body on Saturday in Iraq.
The lawyer, Brandon Mayfield, was taken into custody because his fingerprint was identified on a shopping bag of detonators in Madrid just after the series of synchronized bombings on trains back on March 11. The detonators were activated by cell phones. This is a common ploy used by Al Quaeda lately, especially in simultaneous bomb attacks in a city - a similar series rocked Casablanca, Morocco last May. The majority of the many suspects in the Madrid attack are Moroccan Muslims.
Nick Berg was in Iraq supposedly to set up some kind of cell phone service there. When I read "cell phone" I immediately thought of the terrorist attack tactic. Who funded this trip of his, and did he have any equipment or technology with him? Who would he seek out to be partners or clients?

The registered fly swatter made me burst out laughing. I know, it's not funny. I get the point of the increasing intrusiveness of Government.

Gran they are jacking up the price of gasoline here nearly every day. This morning David wanted to start a revolt!! It's NOT funny. Canada doesn't NEED oil from anyone in reality.

Interesting questions, Val. Who knows? Seems that he was freelancing, but I haven't heard anything about any equipment he might have had with him.

This whole Berg incident is getting more weird all the time.
I want to know why the big discrepancy on the time stamps on the video.. (13 hours and not all in order on the still frames?) and why doesn't it look like him at all? Was that really Berg, or someone else?
Stranger by the minute..

He was Lynn.. and the sweetest pup.. He was half Malamute and always smelled like a puppy, unless he messed with his familiars,...the skunk. I think they saw his color and would come in the fenced yard to check him out.
Oh... I dreaded the warm weather.. He spent so much time at the beauty parlour, and the car would stink for days.. lol.and of course he couldn't come in the house and sleep by my bed so he would howl like a wolf all night.. sighhh..

Oh Lord, I feel like reaching into my monitor and stroking those ears and under the chin. I LOVE animals as you know. When we lost our last Shepherd I didn't get another one because of working. I have another sick kitty at the moment. It is someting very strange. Like a skin disease. First the vet thought it was self inflicted trauma from stress because she is super timid. Now the little sores are healing up but she has lost some weight. She's very playful and all but I'm gonna take her back. I'm not satisfied yet. I'm not over losing Amigo. *groan*

Nor does America: we just need to drill it, refine it, sell it and go on; but this doesn't suit the goals of the new world order, which is global governance.
Stay safe up there, L.

Where was all the gushing blood?
I've dressed animals, and when the throat of a LIVING mammal is cut, the blood just spurts out all over!
Another fedgov hoax to whipsaw public opinion.
To: Canadian Outrage
You never get over it Lynn.. I still miss him. I won't get another dog cause I just couldn't go thru that trauma again.
I do hope poor kitty is all right. Kids and animals..you hate to see them sick. It's so sad that so many of our animals die of Leukemia and cancer today.

"Another fedgov hoax to whipsaw public opinion."
Do you think so Lod? I've heard it said by others too. I tend to lean towards skullduggery from the family first. I don't trust those people. They are too far to the left liberals for me to trust them outright.
I wonder if we'll ever find out the truth..

Yes.. that was another thing I thought odd.. the blood. I think the time frame of the video might explain that. That was not taken in sequence as far as I can see. I am having big doubts about whether it is real or not.

Exactly. I often wonder WHAT is really in pet food. I just bought a NEW, and expensive one recommended by the vet. It's supposed to be duck meat, potatoe mash, beets and one other veg. I have always fed my pets Iams. That's not cheap either.
