He said I think you should consider going to Law School you would make an excellent trial attorney. He said, you did better than a lot of Lawyers that appear before me"!! We were pretty proud of her too. And you have every right to be proud ... Sounds like everything went really good and this Judge doesn't like the games Gleyn pulled

Great news about the court outcome! Marlise must present herself in cool, professional manner to elicit such high praise from the judge. That had to lift her spirits after this heavy ordeal.

I remember clamming and digging the geoducks on the Washington beaches. That was fun (well, only if you're not going to be picky about the definition of fun) --- and they tasted GOOD.

"Some cases are impossible but the young ones today have a different mentality in my view." I think that young people just don't have much foundation for marriage anymore. Parents can only teach them so much and the messages they receive from the culture are often completely opposite of what they have learned at home. If they do take it seriously, they are still liable to have a fear of commitment, or even be incapable of commitment, and any concept of the sacred side of marriage escapes them.
Anyway, I'm glad that your daughter's case went so well. I hope she will be able to get on with her life now and that there will be no furthur need to return to court. Thank God that there are still a few just judges left.

I never could understand why anyone would go to all that trouble to catch and cook something that tastes like a rubber band.

Oh no, more bad news Glenn's?
To: lodwick
Well, let's just say that I dated one for awhile. He was, without a doubt, one of the most selfish and egotistical men I ever met. There is also one on this board who has all the charm of a pit viper with an attitude.

No, no, no ... my Dad's middle name is Wayne and he is a good guy -- honest! I won't tell you his first name, or you'll never believe me that he's a decent and honest citizen. *L*

Close! It's just a little ol' three letter name, though. One favored by prize fighters and heinous (or stupid) criminals.

My brother got tagged with the dreaded W...and his first name is John, to boot.
Parents, THINK, before naming - there are books out there to help you if you're name-challenged.
Good day everyone.

John is a family name here. If my parents had had a boy, it was at risk for being named John Wayne. They just had daughters, though.
I didn't use John or Wayne when naming any of my sons, but Garrett's middle name is my dad's first name (not Bil)

Very fresh - thanks for the linkage.
