One of the most pleasant and quickest trips, air-wise, that we've had.
We came business class because Al thought it would be more comfortable for me, and it was great. I think we've both decided that it's the only way to go, even on these short trips.
Right now I am trying to straighten the house up, get all my computer updates, and enjoying this wonderful NH air. It has been sunny but not that warm, but good sleeping weather.
The car started right up right away, and so did the tractor, but the mower needs a charge. Now he's out checking the granddaughters car that is out of commission in a parking lot somewhere. Guess he'll get it towed and checked out for her.. Natch it happened just before we got home, and everyone works. That leaves Gramps..
Good thing he loves to be busy. He's also getting the mail that wasn't sent, and that will mean 100 or more catalogs for me to go thru. We'll probably have two big boxes full.. Urgh.
I had 370 emails come in when I opened it. I have to go thru all that too.
Thank goodness the house is pretty darned clean looking. A few mice came in, but we'll get those suckers soon..;) The heating people came in to fix something and left some of the thermostats too high, thus inviting the mice..
It's going to take me awhile before I know my way around this puter.. Funny how everything gets outdated in just 6 months..

Sounds like things are falling into place very nicely .. except for the mice part
I just got back from dropping off the neighbors kid at school ... and Carly at her school
I know I've said it before .. but I'll say it again ... Mom's in mini vans SHOULD NOT BE ALLOWED TO DRIVE
Good Grief they are terrible drivers
After dropping of Carly, and as I'm coming out of the driveway to make a left turn .. this one mother is waving for me on to pull out ... then she waved more and more and more and then honked the horn
And I'm sitting there thinking .. HEY LADY SHUT UP .. CAN'T YOU SEE ALL THE BLEEPING TRAFFIC COMING FROM THE OPPOSITE DIRECTION ???
Then as I'm coming down another road .. another mom in a minivan is driving down the MIDDLE of the bleeping road not paying attention because she's talking on her Bleeping cell phone .. HELLO

My sister's husband is head of an oil rig in Nigeria, one month on and one month off. The company flies him in business class. He doesn't drink wine, but saves the bottle served with the meals. You ought to see his collection. Anyway, once the company told him that they were going to start using coach. He told them that it was enough putting up with the dangers over there (he was held hostage once) without putting up with a flight in coach. He threatened to quit and they dropped the matter.

I'll bet Al felt gratified to be needed right away.
There has been no official sighting of N Korea's fearless leader Kim Jong Il since the train blast. The first reports said he had passed through that town a few hours earlier. Now that we know an assassination threat had been issued beforehand, I wonder if a dummy train was sent through earlier, and he was on a later train - which got nailed.
To: Mo1
*Eyes wide*
Just WHERE are you?
Sounds like you ran into the chick who tried to pull out INTO THE SIDE OF MY CAR without looking.
Then when she finally looked straight ahead, she blares her horn at me as if I'm the f-tard.
After that, she sits in the middle of the d##n road blocking both lanes with her arms crossed mouthing non-stop and glaring at me as I drive on.
If she'd only bothered to look dead ahead before trying to pull out, she'd have seen me sitting there waiting for te guy in front of me to complete his turn...

Seems like a pretty big explosion to take out one guy, to me.
But then again I liked the Israeli method of putting 10g of high explosive in their opponent's cell phone.
Achmed? Listen closely...
