Just because I knew what "Mischief Night" was - I lived in NJ for one year - it put me in:
43% (Yankee). Barely into the Yankee category.
Texas 15 years
Arkansas 8 years
Calif 3 years
NJ 1 year
the remainder NOT in the US - Cuba (11), Peru (2), Okinawa (1), Phillipines, Korea, here & there & everywhere!
Hell! I don't even know where I spent the entire 53 years!

Looks like the information used in the test could be a bit more sophisticated than just "Yankee" or "Dixie" thought. Most of my responses came up with "Great Lakes region," which is more accurate for me than "Yankee."

52% Dixie. I have lived in Michigan all of my life ecxept the two years my husband was stationed at Fort Knox. One afternoon, while living in married housin on post, I couldn't shut off our outside spigot. I called up another Army-wife friend of mine to see if I could borrow some pliers--pligh-errs. I also found it interesting that much of the feedback related directly to Michigan/Great Lakes: Devil's Night, TPing...but no mention of cow tipping!
