I had no idea. Being Swedish I spend most my cultural knowledge time drinking Aquavit. ;)

I explore your smile
with my mind
the emotion is strong
you are overpowering
I love you through rising,
changing, waters
in your arms
I found your joy....

Explore my smile with great care,
for I may be tempted to explore you.
What potential we might find there,
striking fire, starting flames as we do.

Striking fire is for lightning blots
I looked in your eyes and saw the fire
I knew it raged - unbridled, like a wild stallion
Riding horses was a fear of mine
until I learned they sense fear
and I learned how to hide it...

Should thou lovest me this day I would be content in today not ask for tomorrow...
But... live this day only in splendor of knowing thou lovest me today...

You can not hide what burns in you,
it shine forth from your lovely eyes.
I see it there and smile inside I do,
for I shall have my way with you, my prize.

The Mist
I am the mist, the impalpable mist,
Back of the thing you seek.
My arms are long,
Long as the reach of time and space.
Some toil and toil, believing,
Looking now and again on my face,
Catching a vital, olden glory.
But no one passes me,
I tangle and snare them all.
I am the cause of the Sphinx,
The voiceless, baffled, patient Sphinx.
I was at the first of things,
I will be at the last.
I am the primal mist
And no man passes me;
My long impalpable arms
Bar them all.

Good morning Sam.
Wow, this poem is fantastic along with a perfect graphic to emphasize the power of the words.
Thanks for the tunes. Listening to them now.
