Fractals fascinate me. I used to have a program that would make music from fractals...it was way cool!

Kinda like a display that there used to be at the Boston science museum...they assigned a note to each of the different proteins in a strand of DNA, and made music from it. It was surprisingly organized. OK, so much of that was because humans assigned the notes, but it was still amazing, IMO.

I've listened to some of that -- fractal music-- on the internet before. Really fascinating stuff.

Check out this vey cool mug Steve gave me! A perk from Sherry Labs.

The insert on the left is the sipper part, it's rubbery, not hard and pops down into the top. The piece on the right is like a cork. Seals it off.

Here is the back, with it all put together. I like it because it won't spill in my car, yet it's not an insulated cup...those things always burn me!

I love this man! I love this man! LOL

I just felt like saying that! The middle is a long time, but I think it begins at 1,000. I don't even know what it means!

I really like it. I have very few vices anymore and coffee is one that I can't foresee giving up.

Someone says to me "Coffee isn't good for you...you should give it up!" I'll list off all the things I've done in the past that wasn't good for me and I gave up...coffee is the least not good for me of them all and I'm not giving it up!

Hehehehe...

Oh! By the way, which airport is closest to you? I'd like to start searching for low fares as early as possible! *grin*

I'm thinking about flying in on July 1st and leaving Monday the 5th, so I can watch fireworks in Washington State!

The middle is a long time, but I think it begins at 1,000. I don't even know what it means!

So middle age begins at 1,000? I could deal with that.

unfortunately my joints and hairline can't...

Nana came thru surgery well and is in recovery. She'll be moved to a room in the next couple of hours. Dr. said she "tolerated it well." Whatever that means.

Thanks for your prayers.
