I haven't used them.

Someone thought they were the ones doing the deal you were talking about!
So I took it from there.

I buy parts at various places.

Upgrades: don't tend to favor them. Wiping and OEM clean install is much better. No potential headaches. I'm seeing XP Pro full version $131

I've bought lots of tuff from Tiger, and built half a dozen computers from their barebones kits. Their cases tend to be less than beautiful, but I've never had trouble with their name-brnd products. I've had to return an item but had no trouble getting an RMA.

I need to upgrade the XP home to the office edtion. I am getting different information from different clerks. I am being told to purchase the upgrade version because otherwise I will lose my settings. I am also told that the Academic version does not contain the os or os upgrade but instead contains Word, Excel powerpoint and access. So what products do I buy to get the os upgrade and the Word +Excel

I found some great prices herehttp://www.pricegrabber.com/rating_getprodrev.php/masterid=477482/id_type=masterid/ut=18c6a907dd3e14ae
