"How does the President's "immigrant worker" plan help secure us from terrorists?"
===
Is that all he is doing to fight terrorism?
Look at what Bush accomplished. Do you honestly think Kerry would be better for the country?
Excerpt from Rumsfeld's testimony:
"First, I want to commend the courageous men and women in uniform and the Department civilians who support them.
They are remarkable and what they have accomplished since our country was attacked 28 months ago is truly impressive. In less than 2½ years, they have:
Overthrown two terrorist regimes, rescued two nations, and liberated some 50 million people;
Captured or killed 45 of the 55 most wanted in Iraq including Iraqs deposed dictator, Saddam Hussein;
Hunted down thousands of terrorists and regime remnants in Iraq and Afghanistan;
Captured or killed close to two-thirds of known senior al-Qaeda operatives;
Disrupted terrorist cells on most continents; and
Likely prevented a number of planned terrorist attacks.
Our forces are steadfast and determined. We value their service and sacrifice, and the sacrifice of their families, who also serve. "

Sorry, I'm not trying to start a flame war. I used to support Bush on most of what he has done, but I'm having a very hard time believing his sincerity when he does things like spend like a Democrat and tries to give de facto amnesty to a bunch of illegal aliens.
Do you honestly think Kerry would be better for the country?
Hell no! But I'm sick of the mentality of "suck it up and vote for Bush because you have no where else to go".
As for our military, I am extremely proud of them and humbled by the blood that they have shed for our (and other people's) freedoms.
To: thecabal
It's an election year. This is the time to support Bush and vote in lots of Republicans. Then, once he is reelected, you can work on the other issues.

You sure know how to waste your time complaining about something that know one here cares about. The fact of the matter is that no one here believes %100 percent that Bin Laden is in custody. Some of us believe it more....some less. I bet you that even Sean would not tell you it is not %100. The thing is that it is more likely that he is right than that he is not. That is all. The statements coming out in recent days about how we will have him by the end of the year are give aways IMHO. I stopped doubting Sean's conclusion a lot less when those statements started coming out. They would not likely make such statements if they did not already have him. But we don't know for sure. Your assumption that we are all a bunch of mindless zombies being led down the road of deception is actually a deception that you have created in your own mind. Those of us who post here are much brighter than you give us credit for. We may speculate, but we are not certain of anything until there is proof. On the flip side while you are so worried about us being sheep to all of this speculation...Then you prefer that we be sheep in simply believing that nothing bad could be happening because the government would tell us...The media would tell us....And Yes-even you would Tell us. No thanks. I prefer to see all the information and decide for myself to whatever degree I see that as possible.

Things are still going smoothly in KS.
Hooked up to SBC Yahoo and the home page is a DRAAAAGGGGG.
I've had to restart twice before I was finally able to log on.
I've been lurking at work for the past several days, unable to post from there because of network problems.
It's good to get back into the fray.

Your another person who seems to have nothing better to do than to spend the last two days attacking Sean. What does this gain you. Do you think that we have not questioned his assertions at all. Well there is proof in the posts here that we have questioned him and that we are not mindless. But one thing is for sure and that is that Sean is in a position to know more than us. So while we don't buy it hook line and sinker...We do give what he says some weight. I for one appreciate is educated views. Certainly we are not going to spend all of our time attacking him based on whatever uncertainty that there may be. That is not constructive at ALL!!! He is doing his best to state what he believes to be true. And there is a good chance that there is a lot of truth to what he says. Is he most likely wrong about some things....OF COURSE. So what!
So are you! So we all are wrong about things. Now let us come to our own conclusions. You are welcome to come to yours, but don't be little everyone in the process or they will be little YOU!

Now you might be right there in many ways. Did you ever consider that what is happening is a mixture of what you belive and what some other people believe as well. Maybe there is a whole lot more evil involved here than we would like to believe.

"I am awestruck how many folks on the web these days fixate on Russia but nary a mention of China"
I for one am very worried about China...Very very worried. Now what if they have teamed up with the Russians as it has been suggested. That would really put us in a world of do-do.

Yeah just like we have been doing for the last four years ?
Don't you remember everyone saying that every day for the last 4 years ? Even if we vote for Bush...We are still throwing our vote away when it comes to a conservative nation. I submit to you that we WILL NOT SURVIVE Another 4 years of this kind of socialism. Just look at the deficit.
Close the borders and SLASH spending. It is our only chance.

Go Easy on CoC, Revel.
When Sean goes off on the Big Russian Conspiracy, and when challenged, responds with the following:
Why are you so eager to defend Mother Russia, eh comrade?
That's pretty shabby.
I mean that convinces me completely.
BTW, I do believe Sean on the Osama thing, especially with recent developments in Pakistan. We're very close, or have him, or Mush has got him and will be announced at the most politically expedient time.

Certainly, one could imagine Russia providing the knockout Nuke blow via ICBMs and China/North Korea providing the muscle on the ground. Of course they would have to get to America, there sure are a lot of ships that come here from the east now-a-days. Certainly would be easier to hide such a buildup.
Just talking Hypoitheically everyone...don't get have a cow.
