Omigosh! Just when they thought they could move the trial to Canada, and now it turns out it's all over the place in Canada, too! LOL!
To: Velveeta
Oooh! I love to watch those!
Ask 'em if they've seen any cement anchors down there!
To: Velveeta; Tijeras_Slim
ROFLMAO!!!!
Your mission: to disable Jackie P.'s oxygen tank. Temporarily only, of course.

The only thing I ever saw a bird wearing, that got my attention, was that time the bird in The Three Stooges was flying around with a skull over its body, with its wings sticking out! (Other birdwear leaves me cold.)

Lol, thanks, I saw it!
I remember last January and maybe February, people would notice that whenever the cops would be searching in the Bay, Scott would do something like, go to San Diego, or go to L.A. People noticed then that he seemed nervous about their searching in the Bay. Remember the ploy the police used, when they said they'd found something that looked like a body, but they had to wait a day to go back down, due to weather? I think they were trying to get him to crack, from the anxiety of it. I wonder if they came close.

During the prelim, we learned of several stories that the cops asked the family to put out there, too.
I wonder how much of the true scenario we really have heard.
I try to draw lines to dots I find, but try not to speculate too much, because in some ways we're being sold a bill of goods, and risk being manipulated by the investigators. The gag order just makes it worse, in some ways, because a deluge of information would at least contain more real facts.
On the other hand, if it helps the cops nail him, then more power to them. Seeing his behavior and hearing his words in the interviews he did for tv convinced me he was guilty.

I saw a parrot dressed like Elvis once. (Personally, I thought it looked more like Liberace, but...)

I agree that Geragos's demand to move the trial to LA is completely transparent to anyone with an IQ above room temperature. In the Jury comment, what I meant to say, was "the peers should be chosen from the area where the crime was committed". I heard a Lawyer on one of the talk shows recently cite that.

Make no mistake Vel, Judge Girolami is completely onto Geragos. I think this Judge has frustrated him immensely. He just doesn't play MG's games. He's actually kinda neat, he listens patiently, reads his voluminous printed diarrhea and then says, NO!! LOL - I LOVE IT!!

I would more accurately guess that the T-shirt issue is ANOTHER Gergos exaggeration, if not, a downright, lie.

"Considering that one of the TWO life jackets that the man sold Scott with the boat was missing, I wondered also if Scott toyed with the idea of saying he and Laci went out in the boat, and that she fell out and he couldn't reach her in time to rescue her."
True - at least this story is more plausible than the satanic cult theory!

"It boggles my mind to think of what MG is juggling right now with his two big cases."
It has to be hard even though I hear the talking heads say that attorneys often juggle many cases at one time. The pleadings aren't well written so he must have a high school or college student helping out.

I agree - I bet he flipped when he found out how quickly that dog was returned.

There you go, using logic and reason again! ;-)
It sounds like he never quite settled on an alibi before he started the final assault. He put out several stories to several people before and after she went missing.
I buy the theory that he thought he could lie his way out of preliminary questioning, then foist her murder onto some mythical vagrant in or around the park. Wouldn't it be funny if he's feeding Geragos the Satanic cultists lines?
He's so used to having people buy his 'suggestions' and misleading statements. What a rude awakening it must have been to see the cops lock him into a timeline and alibi and then start to parse every statement he made to them. Scary intro into reality.
And there are Jackie and Geragos, continuing to feed his meglomania. It's his attitude that will send him to his death, and Mommy is pushing him along on that path.
