It wasn't that anyone shouldn't say anything good about the Seahawks. After all, Holmgren is a very good coach and Hasselbeck was playing well, but Collinsworth was dumping so much praise on the guy, it was like announcing a pitcher was throwing a no-hitter...you know what always happens when the announcers do that right? Some guy hits a line drive single to mess up the no no. Well, while Collinsworth was drooling all over Hasselbeck non-stop, he completely ignored the subtle, but important matter of Hasselbeck's comment after winning the overtime coin toss "we're going to score" into the referee's microphone. Taunting is something that can work, but that comment could be heard by....ready???....the entire stadium, including the Packer ....do ya think the defense might have been a little energized? Anyway, my point is Collinsworth was so busy having an orgasm over a look left and completed pass to the right that he never noticed, on the last interception that he telegraphed it all the way. In the midst of his lovefest, he lost his objectivity.

Donald Driver said going to Philly was a grudge match because they beat us at home.
Kid Rock walked into Lambeau wearing a pimp hat with a long feather in it. When he was interviewed after the game, he was wearing a Packer boggan.

Can't tell. His form at the line is good but it seems to be mental. Bowen is at least a little better than last year though!

Poor Al--he never did get to do the Lambeau Leap. He was tackled and pummeled by his own teammates seconds after that picture was taken.

'twasn't just Collinsworth: Aikman and Buck were also quite giddy in their biased comments. It's one thing to root for an underdog, but they were absolutely ridiculous yesterday. (Another couple of announcers good for anti-Packers bashing were Dan Dierdorff and now Lions GM Matt Millen; good thing one can turn off the network audio and turn on the local coverage here in Packers country!)
Re: Hasselbeck's comments. Packers Center Mike Flanagan in a local program ("Packers Blitz") that followed the Fox telecast commented, "I didn't hear all that Hasselbeck said. It was something like, '...and we're going to score.' Well, he did."
GO PACKERS!!!
