"The discovery of "shatter cones" in rock at a suspected meteor crater is usually taken as conclusive evidence of a meteor impact."

Yes. I believe they're called 'tektites.'

Yes. I believe they're called 'tektites.'

I had to use Google to refresh my memory about tektites. They are metamorphosed materials -- changed by the heat and pressure of meteor impact. Normally they are associated with young craters, not those hundreds of millions of years old, because tektites slowly dissolve.

Shatter cones on the otherhand are found in terrestrial rock strata and exhibit the fracturing that is unique to rock that has been subjected to hypershock that occurs during the impact of a massive body traveling at tens of kilometers per second.

I know a family with double rows of teeth, but they are ordinary-sized. As I recall, they are of English extraction - no Native American genes.

All of them in the family had double rows of teeth...how did they manage...and how do you know about them? (Nosy, huh?)

Thanks for posting this interesting article. Since you mentioned the giants with two rows of teeth, thought you might be interested in going to Steve Quayle's site where he has provided several links to giants in America, which if memory serves me correct, includes the giants with double rows of teeth. If not there, I believe that Ruoflaw knows where to find information about those people.

Well, I'm not sure if EVERY family member had those weird teeth or not - but I knew one of them personally. She said it is a family trait.

I never noticed she had any problems eating or talking.

If I remember right, she did say that if a tooth got pulled, the one in behind slid to the front.

They were all crooked and ugly.

A "Great Old Ones" ping...

I do hope you are referring to the creators of this magnificent structure, and not your comrades.
