Hi snippy,

Yes, he left for Kingston, Ontario while we were finishing Thanksgiving dinner. He went to see his girlfriend.

He has not been on the ice since the injury.

We talked, but with his jaw wired shut I had a little trouble making out his words. I did well enough though, we understood one another. Of course, grandma hugged the big luge as he went out the door. :-) He hugged me back, too!!!


His jaw will be unwired this week and yes, it's back on the ice right away for him. (Contracted player.)

He has lost 20 pounds. He needs to eat like a horse to put that weight back on.
