A little humor break brought to you by the "Religion of Peace (or, Pieces, as they would like us to be)".

I must admit, using either interpretation it isn't a high point in the cartoonist's career.

#1 they worship a moon rock.
#2 they think god will be reborn by a man.
#3 they have to check their stool with their unclean
hand to make sure they don't miss his birth.

It is kind of a lame cartoon, but you must admit that CAIR had to go to great extremes to extract their ridiculous interpretation.

Marlette told WorldNetDaily he would not apologize, though he had received thousands of e-mails from angry Muslims, with some threats of death and mutilation. The religion of peace(TM) strikes again.

I think he meant it as a slur against Islam, knew nobody could prove it...and is laughing at this moment, as am I :)))
I think the cartoon is right on the money!!! Cheers for someone with cajones!!!

Oh great.
Now it's not just what we SAY...
It's not what we MEAN...
It's whether somebody CAN COME UP WITH a possible bad interpretation...that's "all that matters".
Okay, I officially stop caring what people think at this point. :)

It's whether somebody CAN COME UP WITH a possible bad interpretation...that's "all that matters".That's the crux of the whole "hate crime" problem. There is a judgment of what you were "thinking" at the time, really making it a "thought crime". It doesn't matter what you were really thinking, it just matters what someone else THOUGHT you were thinking.
Orwellian.

Left
The left is always unclean.
To: HuntsvilleTxVeteran
What if their left arm was amputated in a failed suicide bombing attack? Could they then wipe with their right? Would they have to get someone else to wipe? Could an Imam give a special dispensation for them to use their right? Inquiring minds want to know.

Marshall Blonsky, professor of semiotics at the New School in New York, said for one thing, people don't slam outhouse doors. I suppose this professor has a lot of experience with this??? What a ridiculous statement!

Maybe the cartoon caveman was angry because he wasn't as in-touch with his inner self as this professor - so he slammed the door. Perhaps the door was spring-loaded, hence the slam. Quite honestly, this is the deepest I've ever tried to analyze a cartoon.
I guess if you are a professor of semiotics, you aren't much use to anyone is society, so you have to make idiotic statements about some cartoon character to remove all doubt.

So I guess the religion of peace will now issue a fatwah on him. Maybe he can get some advice from Salaman Rushdie
