Oh my tummy is just fine now.. but the thought of food is sickening. We had way too many dishes.. and you know how it is when you eat at someone else's house, you have to try everything to be a good guest. ( It has nothing to do with how good it looks) Yeah........riiiiight!

Turkey, and it's stuffing and gravy, is like a reverse liposuction..and of course we were forced to eat both desserts.. Never again.. We made a pact, never ever again will we build a meal that big. We are all way to old for it..

Well.. it's great that you had the three boys there.. Did you keep the meal hot, or heat up leftovers for him?

I'm sure the other boys hated for it to be held off.. lol.

Grant missed a bus connection in San Antonio, so we went ahead and ate at 4 and then fixed him up a big plate of food when he got here at 9.

Solid thinking with the cutting-back pact.

Always go for quality, not quantity.

Ugh - Mrs.L says it's time to drag out the Christmas crap.

I am no Fluffy...

Dyan, normal?
Dyan has us for influence, normalcy is not possible.

That cat is intent upon some sort of havoc.
It's in the eyes.

I, unfortunately, can never have a small dog.
My 24 pound Holstein cat would try to eat the poor thing.
And being chased by a small waddling cow that resembles a cat is demoralizing for a dog.

Yes.
The only bummer was a mild toothache.
(But I still put a hurting on the turkey! Turkey are evil and deserve to be eaten!)

Kearen is amazingly fast for a 24 pound fat cat.
If Penny has been there for longer, then she is the 'alpha animal' in the house and will not suffer other critters nosing into her turf kindly.
Unless she can find some use for Alice, she'll see her as an interloper.
(OTOH, she might end up seeing Alice as 'her' dog. My father's cat NiMh saw our dog Tiny as 'his' dog. He still likes to be walked as if we're walking the dog, he seems to miss her.)

OMG...that is so funny. Our cat "Fluffy" must have taken to our dog as her dog..

She used to ride on his head around the house.. Sleep between his legs in the sun, and when I took Daimie out on the leash she always walked with us.. She was a pain when she did this, because we went too far for her, and Daimie attracted other dogs..so it wasn't safe..

I always had to go home with her and trap her in the house so she didn't follow us..

Trapping the cat..
Bet she howled about the outrage.
NiMh is an indoor outdoor cat.
(We're his indoor pets, and he gets so mad when he sees us outside.)
NiMh would curl up by Tiny, rub against her nose (making her sneeze) and walk between her legs (tripping her) while outside.
He loved her to pieces and was insanely jeallous of any other cat going near her.
