The United States -- it is the closest to honoring the principles of republican government established by the Founding Fathers, regardless of how far the nation has strayed from those principles.

Perhaps Singapore? How do you define "conservative"?

Good question.
If I had to pick, I'd say the U.S..
Although Afghanistan could win on principle. Seriously.

Better bet, ask the question "What is the net result of Socialism?"
Once you get past the millions the Hitler, Stalin, Pol Pot, etc. all killed, you'll find yourself a staunch supporter of individual rights.

Paul Johnson's Modern Times outlines this quite nicely.
All most people want is economic and political self-determination.
To me, that's the essence of conservativism.

Now...have you done your homework yet?

Yeah, it kind of depends on the definition. You could call Saudi Arabia pretty conservative too depending on your standard.

Malta...

Order of Monks... No outsiders... You have to be a direct descendant to be a citizen... They have a very low birth rate....

It depends on what element of conservatism you are referring to.... Financial policy, social policy, military, national interests, political climate...

Marlon Brando's island. He is a statist control freak, but he's too chunky to catch anyone.

Define Conservative. That word doesn't mean the same to people in other countries that it does to US citizens.

Depends on your definition of conservative. If you define it like my old neighbor did -- i.e. anti-women, anti-progress, religious fanaticism -- you might have to say Iran or Pakistan!!
