i like PA and would gladly live there again. i would NOT live in MD. i just see no point to MD, basically. : ) i mean i know he works there, but as far as living in this area, only the liberals live in MD. and there are no decent state schools at ALL. anyone with a kid looking towards college would be better served by living in VA, bc there are a lot of good schools here, that are also state schools. which is why we prepaid the VA tuition, and now both xsteen and xsboy are saying that they want to go out of state. well, look for scholarships, kiddies!

If you cant match it, you could cut it with a coping saw, pull it out from the middle, deal with the screw... and put it back with glue....then sand and paint.

Ouch! That's some price for historical ambience! That's as bad as the Dominion in SA-one of my realtor friends has sold a couple of houses there, and she says our house or hers (they are similar) would sell for nearly $500,000 there, which is way over what it is worth here. But the Dominion has a fancy golf course and all. George Strait lives there, along with some of the Spurs.

there are liberals everywhere, but the DC suburbs of MD are socialist, which is also pretty much the case for the close in suburbs of VA, i guess when you get down to it. i just have never liked MD. VA is much prettier and historic and all that.

A friend of mine bought a house in Kingwood (for those of you not familiar, a planned community north of Houston in one of the highest rated school districts in Texas) - this house is only about 4 years old, over 3,000 sq ft - 4 bedrooms, 2 1/2 baths, formal living/dining, family room and a game room....... $140,000.....lol.....you couldn't touch that house for less than $375,000 here.......
