Hello! This reminds me of a Bill Cosby joke told much better by him but the gist of it:
Cosby is awakened one morning by his tired wife, who tells him to go down and feed the children breakfast. He eventually does, grumpily, and spies a chocolate cake. His mind goes to the recipe for chocolate cake. There are eggs in chocolate cake. And flour. And milk. There's nutrition in chocolate cake!
So when the kids come down for breakfast, he slices them servings of chocolate cake, and the kids sing his praises, until the mother comes down, who has a conniption and sends Cosby back to bed, "where I wanted to be in the first place."

Well considering the fact that I met My Marine while shooting pool, I don't have much room to complain about that....and there was a little beer involved that night too - but I don't recall the Marine or myself asking any ex-cons to kill anyone for us.......but I might better check with M before making a blanket statement......

And speaking of conniptions....

Dennis the Menace announced his intent to run for pres. I heard a clip of his speech, some ramblings about the goddess of peace. Too bad the ACLU won't have a conniption over that.

xshub said last night as we were watching the blurb on dennis, that guy could just as easily be following a schoolbus, wearing a raincoat with nothing under it, as running for president...

A cognac
conniption?
A bourbon blather?
A scotch scream-a-thon?
Or just the usual gin-gyrations?

Because Shep was obsessing on a car chase last night, and anxious to show off his knowledge of the CA freeway system, we switched off of Fox News last night and i stopped on Lifetime (which, by the way, needs to be banned from the airwaves)which had a show on Maria Shriver. i think she looks good for her age. xshub and xsteen were positively cruel. xsteen thinks she is hideous and looks like an 'old bag" trying to look young. Xshub thinks her hair is too long for a woman that age. i think her hair is nice and i like it, and it isn't IMO too long for her. i was at least gratified to hear from xsteen and xshub that they don't think that I LOOK like an old bag trying to look young.
