I don’t doubt those numbers. But the average voter doesn’t care about any comparisons. He’s concerned about the here and now. He concerned about the numbers on the grocery shelves and on the gas station signs today.
This is goin to be a thought nut to crack because the election is so close.
Someone on another thread mentioned how the Democrats are closing refineries. And doing other things that make energy more expensive. Perhaps that should be emphasized instead.
These evaluations are on what base? If it is Trump based upon what Biden left us it is NOT better.
There are other things Trump has done that are definite improvements; arguing the affordability narrative is a trap.
If a tree falls in the forest. We have got to somehow get this news out to the voters. The media is not going to report on all this economic good news. All I hear ABC Radio News talk about every day is the cost of gas and diesel.
All while ending Jimmy Carter’s 47-year war.

Saw diesel at $6 two days ago here in Central Texas.... glad I don’t run a diesel.... still don’t understand why it’s $2 higher than reg. unleaded as diesel is one of the first things processed from crude. Want prices to come down then ensure diesel is about 10 cents higher than reg. unleaded.... like it used to be. Greedy bassturds.
Why are car prices going down? I don’t drive, so I don’t go to grocery stores anymore. I didn’t realize hamburger was so expensive now. My son was telling me current prices at McDonald’s and holy cow! FYI: I have no idea what a ‘holy cow’ is.

That’s always been the case with every president, so president’s are judged by their own inflation figures, not what the previous president’s inflation was.
