REPUBLICAN TURNOUT IS KEY !!

I once read a study that showed that Democrat turnout is relatively constant.

So *ALL* races are won or lost by GOP turnout.

Nearly every Republican I talk to is completely oblivious to the election season. It just unnerves me to no end. How?!

Of course. Everyone knows that. That’s why places like FR are trolled by blackpill TDS’ers to drive down Republican vote. Massie supporters - you know who you are...

Would be nice to see the study, though.

I agree with the OP that turnout is critical.

I have a long history of “white pill”—we are talking decades here—on FR—even when other folks were crying and moaning.

This time really is different.

I am the messenger delivering the bad news.

We were baited and switched—and anyone who thinks that a large number of Republicans or independent leaning Republicans have not noticed are in deep delusion.

(MAGA became MIGA—Make Israel Great Again. Denial is not a river in Egypt—and fools no-one.)

Hard core republicans should drive those who don’t vote to the polls. County offices should know who the non-voters are and these rides should be arranged ahead of time. I can remember when 300 Amish needed rides(automobile) to get to the polls and 1500 volunteers showed up. Assign a volunteer driver to pick up 3 or 4 of them and bring them to a meeting place afterwards to socialize. Get more info on them. Consider it positive encroachment to the shut-ins.

It was taken down REALLY fast!
I went to the same site later THAT DAY (I had bookmarked the study) and it was gone.

Scalia dies and the turtle holds up the Merrick Garland nomination. Let the people decide. Leads to a Trump win in November. Was it Trump or the SCOTUS nomination that did it? I think it was both. We’ve got the issue(s) now and we should run with it.

Fear was an element back then.

That’s why places like FR are trolled by blackpill TDS’ers to drive down Republican vote.

The vote-suppression argument I see the most on FR is by self-proclaimed conservatives saying that we shouldn't vote for some GOP nominee because they are insufficiently conservative or pro-Trump.

The time to battle over the nominee is in the primaries. But in the general election, any Republican is better than the Democrat alternative in that race. Sure, Susan Collins isn't conservative, but she's always going to be better than the Democrat nominee in that state.

We need every single vote in Congress that we can get.

I don’t care if they’re excited or not, just turn up and vote as if your life depends on it. It just might. If only one person turns out and votes for the bad guy.....the bad guy wins.

I hope Trump can help motivate republicans as much as he does the democrats. Republicans don’t seem to turnout as much in the midterm elections. Dems will turnout. We’ve got to turnout or we’re in trouble.

Yeah - to a first-order approximation I don’t care who you vote for in the primary. I mean - that’s not *really* true - I am not happy with people, for instance, who voted for Cornyn this summer - but Republican is Republican. Once the primaries are over - get your butts out and vote AGAINST the Democrats. It’s just that simple.
