It is such a worn journalistic trope that it has become the object of mockery whenever some brave but foolish member of the media dares to use it yet again. But what if the subject who supposedly pounced is not even a Republican? Well, that is apparently no problem for the Philadelphia Inquirer which conveniently relabeled the person in question, in this case Robert F. Kennedy Jr., as a Republican via the use of blatant misinformation despite the reporters piously lecturing the readers about, yes, misinformation.
This mighty feat of stupendous hypocrisy was performed on Friday by Aubrey Whelan and Henry Savage in "How two deaths in a Pennsylvania measles outbreak led to a clash between Gov. Josh Shapiro and RFK Jr."

Wasn’t part of the problem that Shapiro LIED about the measles deaths? I thought I read that it was completely made up and no county health officials in PA could or would confirm the 2 measles deaths.
Regardless of the details, it was 2 cases in 35 years!!!! by Shapiro’s own words!!!! Sorry not Sorry for yelling.
PLUS he POLITICIZED it to use that MISINFORMATION to attack RFK, Jr.. Keep an eye on Mark Halperin's presidential race rankings on his 2Way channel. In his last presidential race ranking he had Shapiro at #1. However, I won't be surprised to see Halperin knock little Shapiro down by at least 3 to 5 slots from the top. I'm sure Shapiro had been riding high the past few weeks on the fumes from his #1 ranking but the downgrade is going to feel like his platform shoes have just collapsed beneath him.

Medicaid/Medicare have the sickest people and see the biggest problems. They are a barbell. A long narrow line of many people with a couple big weights at each end.
1)We spend a lot of money to keep the frail and elderly alive one more year...one more week... one more day.
2) We spend a lot of money on bad lifestyle choices of tobacco, vaping, alcohol, drugs, STD, HIV.
3) We spend a lot of money on newborns of parents who made bad lifestyle choices.
4) We spend less, but still much money on poor food choices of too much sugar and salt, too much artificial preservatives.
5) We spend a lot of money on all 4 of the above, and all other causes, on FRAUD WASTE ABUSE
6) The amount of money spend on measles, mumps, chickenpox, etc is relatively small, probably due too vaccines. Even before vaccines, these contagious diseases were less a problem than the bad lifestyle choices of #2.
#1 is #1 due to us boomers and pre-boomers getting old.
The Inquirer is duty bound to protect their candidate for Governor and the Democrat Presidential Nomination. They will lie and dissemble as much as and as often as they must to cover any and all facts or realties that hurt their boy Josh. They are no longer a “News”paper but a propaganda dissemination outlet device.
The Philadelphia Inquirer probably thinks Abraham Lincoln was a Democrat.
