Organizers of an East Texas pastoral summit are seeking 300 pastors for a Saturday gathering centered on the Muslim Brotherhood and what organizers describe as its threat to America.
“The Muslim Brotherhood wants to destroy America. We need 300 pastors to stop them,” a promotional flyer for the Northeast Texas Pastoral Summit declares.
Pine Baptist Church will host the August 22 event from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. at 284 FM 1522 in Pittsburg. Pastor Ben Warrick invited church leaders to join him for “a full day of awareness training” in a July 7 post.
Organizers list admission as free and ask attendees to RSVP at 903-767-8603. Public promotional materials do not state how many pastors have registered. The 300 figure is the organizers’ goal, not a confirmed attendance count.
Film screening anchors summit
The program opens with coffee and a meet-and-greet before a 9 a.m. screening of Remember the Alamo: Don’t Sharia My Texas. A Q&A and discussion are scheduled for 11:15 a.m., followed by lunch at noon.
As previously reported by The Dallas Express, the documentary directed by Chris Burgard and produced by Tim Lowry argues that Sharia law and Islamist influence threaten American constitutional values. It examines Islamic law, religious liberty, public safety, women’s rights and constitutional protections through interviews, historical references and commentary.
A session billed as “ASIG2 intelligence training” is scheduled from 1 to 4 p.m. Allied Special Intelligence Group says its members have experience in special operations, law enforcement, political warfare, counterintelligence and human intelligence. Its website says the group trains citizens, churches, political groups, public officials and law enforcement.
The flyer and current event listing do not identify who will lead the Q&A or the ASIG2 session.
State and federal actions raise stakes
The summit follows state and federal actions targeting the Muslim Brotherhood or specific branches, as previously reported by The Dallas Express.
Gov. Greg Abbott (R-Texas) designated the Muslim Brotherhood a foreign terrorist organization and transnational criminal organization under Texas authority on November 18, 2025.
Federal authorities took narrower action on January 13, 2026. The State Department designated the Lebanese Muslim Brotherhood as a foreign terrorist organization and specially designated global terrorist. The Treasury Department designated the Egyptian and Jordanian branches as specially designated global terrorists for providing material support to Hamas.
The federal designations apply to those named branches, not the worldwide Muslim Brotherhood as a whole.
The event concludes at 4 p.m. under the theme “No Retreat, No Surrender.”

It's something we ought to do, simply because the weaker among them are clearly pathetic and under duress.
Their software is demonic and clearly states that it is virtuous to lie in wait and surprise and kill Christians and Jews. It also says their plan is domination and exclusion of our people and government, in our own land, by force.
Our trying and imprisoning then deporting all of them is entirely justified.
But the conversion angle is important. I know our own government is run by cowards who will let us be overrun rather than act.
But we could provide an avenue for destabilizing and converting those who are trapped by these demon invaders, those who want to leave the lies of their death cult and live the truth.
So this meeting is a good thing.
Abbott has had every chance to stop the muslims but he just sat in his wheel-chair and did nothing.
Come on pastors....you have been preaching about this for a long time. God bless all of you who step forward and help us fight this....prayers up. Beat these idiot politicians who let this happen. The people are on your side!!!!
