Nice. Some good news always helps.
Once the Ninth Circuit rules in favor of California over Shirley, it will be ready for SCOTUS.

In 2016, Allisom Maas infiltrated a Democrat activist group, posing as an intern. She recorded them confessing to organizing violent disruptions at a Trump rally and planning massive voter fraud, all tightly coordinated with the Clinton campaign. Project Veritas published the videos, and, as a result, got sued for $130,000 in damages.
The court just threw out the award, ruling that they had a 1st amendment right to speech.
"The D.C. Circuit Court of Appeals said that award, which followed a 2022 jury trial, violated the First Amendment by muddling together the consequences of legal activity by O’Keefe and his group, Project Veritas, with unlawful aspects of its infiltration of the consulting firm, Democracy Partners.
The video, which Project Veritas released weeks before the 2016 general election, contended that Democracy Partners and its founder, Robert Creamer, were seeking to foment violence at Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump’s rallies. The presentation included footage obtained by Project Veritas operative Allison Maass who, the court said, lied about her identity in order to get an internship with the firm and surreptitiously record audio and video of meetings.
The video caused a minor stir at the height of the hard-fought presidential campaign, prompting a mention from Trump during a debate with Hillary Clinton. Creamer, the husband of Rep. Jan Schakowsky (D-Ill.), denied provoking violence, but the Democratic National Committee severed ties with him and his firm."
DC jury. There is a reason Jack Smith tried to get the Mar-A-Lago case out of Cannon's court in Florida and into a DC court.
The Nick Shirley Act passed by California will blow up in their faces when they try to prosecute him.
So the Stop Nick Shirley rule is now void??
I don't recall the "Stop Mike Wallace Act"
The just-passed Kalifornia Nick Shirley law is doomed in the courts - even in the liberal courts, imo, on appeal.
If you are re-assured you need to come to CaCaLand — DNC just passed a law outlawing NickShirley and anyone like him.
CaCaLand is a communist state, where the gov’mt decides WHO can report on the news on the WWW. If they catch you trying to do that, you go to jail.
“””The Nick Shirley Act
I don’t recall the “Stop Mike Wallace Act” “””
It was right after the Stop Dan Rather Act.

good news, for a change. thanks once again, James.
Take that, Murkowski.
Good one!
