The NEA (or any woke-tard commie centralist ‘education’ org) has no business running anything having to do with children’s education. That belongs to the parents locally - not even at the state level. We went to the moon multiple times with very primitive technology (by today’s standards) using engineers that weren’t educated by the NEA. JMHO
It’s a shell game. Five million dollars? They know it would never work. Of course that’s not the point. They ask for the membership to vote to spend the money, and the money is available to spend. They only have to spend a million to make it look like they spent 5 million. That leaves 4 million dollar slush fund that only needs bookkeeping entities that relate it to the original goal. It goes to show the intellectual level of the average teacher that they will believe such bull and actually support it.
Seems to me that the NEA has crossed the line between labor union for teachers into PAC with a massive expenditure of time and cash against PDJT. Looks like an IRS violation of its intended purpose and should therefore lose its tax exempt status.

I agree with you, it should be local parents. But as long as there is an NEA, they need to quite their Leftist advocacy.

The children are the toddlers in grown bodies who are running the NEA. As an aside. Youtube put a video in my feed titled “Teachers are quitting in droves.”
And sure enough. Many teachers are quitting but they NEVER address the elephant in the room. They ALL vote for democrats
